That is all I got also and the info was wrong anyways. It said something about Red Bull X-fighters which would have been better than watching two guys stand five feet from a board and throw darts at it.

I have a really bad feeling nbc sports might end up like espn used to be. which = shit!!!! I hope not.

I can't understand how having the mx nationals motos split over 2-3 channels is better than having them all on one channel (SPEED) at a decent time. At least SPEED usually showed a replay if you missed it also....

My show, on U-Verse, started about 10 minutes late, but they ran into the next hour, and showed the whole thing. Ozzy called me all pissed off, then hung up as soon as the show started.

How do you know if SPEED even wanted them?

The show was delayed about 10 min on NBC due to some stupid updates on the NBA, etc. Then it carried over into the Poker and Darts for the first 10-15 min. I had to DVR both to get it right. It was a good recap and preview. Jacked up time slot, but still a good show.

Man..i am just in the middle of seeing what i need to do to upgrade my cable package out here to get NBC Sports / FuelTV . We have DVR's / cable boxes in the house, but out here i run just standard cable into my PC using Win Media Center and my PC does all the DVR functions.

From the sounds of it, it is not as easy as just running a set top box into my PC, and i may need to buy some hardware....not happy about it! My provider just took NBC sports off its SD lineup about 2 months ago, and i have to see the TDF also. Pissed...Angry

One thing i did check was for replays, and they are showing them 3 times, so plenty of replays, now we just got to get the friggen channel!

cant wait till everything is just online and you build your custom playlist. pay for what youre actually going to use and watch.

I believe the time slot of the Nationals would be competing against Nascar, Truck Series and Open Wheel racing. So, all of those are going to win over Motocross.

Man, I am so with you on this one. I have good moto friends that disagree with me on this, and argue that we need the major networks to broadcast moto for it to grow, and I can see their point...but for the live racing, we need some access through the internet. Maybe a combination of live internet feed, and a professionally edited and polished show that airs later on the networks. This last SX season convinced me that without the live broadcast, much of the excitement is lost.

The live feed wouldn't have to be a "show" like we know it now. Wouldn't it be cool to have 4 cameras on the 4 corners of the stadium, then on the internet, you could choose from one of 4 camera angles and switch back and forth as you wish, following the race of your choice. Then just feed the audio from the floor announcer and you got your live feed. I'd pay for that ala carte.

We actually have it even better than that. All of the races are on YouTube within a couple days for free.

Scottie, had problems with my cable company (Time WarnerAngry ) for years. Best move I made was going to Direct TV. Don't know your living arrangements but if you can do it, do it. Smile

I have Dish Network and I had to upgrade to their top 250 program to get NBC Sports and Fuel. Basically it will be costing me $10 more a month to get the channels, but I do get 48 "other" ones too and maybe, just maybe, a couple of them might be useful. Whistling
It looks like there will be two replays and then a review show of each race, which will be cool--that's worth $2.50 a week to me.
