What MX radio shows do you guys recommend most?

Edited Date/Time 5/13/2012 7:06am
For stuff like interviews, and all related Motocross and Supercross news, etc.

And are they all on internet or are there some on XM/Sirius?

And lastly, I know the webcasts aren't broadcasted any more but is there any pre/post race audio shows?

Thanks, everyone.

DMXS, Vurb, RacerX Podcasts and Pulp MX....

The Pulp Classic commentary vids are cool as hell and I like his interviews as well.

Thanks so much for the suggestions, guys. I was unaware of the Racer X pre/post webcast. Can't wait to check it out. They cover both MX and SX on the Racer X pre/post shows, right?

Are all these internet based or is there any thru satellite radio?

Weird...it let me log in with the wrong info.

*Anyway* I listen to all of them on my Android via the Stitcher App. This isn't for the live version though. Pulp and RX are usually up immediately after they are finished with the show. DMXS takes a day or two.

I've tried to listen to some of the others but I never make it more than 10 minutes. Matthes and crew are a lot more entertaining while still being informative. It's like listening in on insider bench racing. Look forward to them, especially for the long drive to the races every weekend.

You cant go wrong with Pulpmx or DMXS. Both bring something different to the table.

Not sure of the others mentioned.

PULPMX....dmxs is a clown show
Thats what makes it great.

And you never know which DMXS your gonna get.. some episodes are goofing off asking riders weird questions about tits, other times they cut the crap and give you a real genuine insight. Also got to remember, *from what I gather, the DMXS dudes are doing it for fun and no profit.. pretty kick ass if you ask me.

Pulp & Matthes have been killing it the last couple of years too.

We're spoilt!

I like both pulpmx and DMXS. DMXS is always going to give you a good laugh and usually they bring out the best in the riders. Kevin and david are funny F***s. Pulp is good too and usually a little more insightful but tends to focus more on the serious stuff.

Puplmx and DMXS are awesome. But there is also allactionsportsradio.com. They have a global segment with
Jason Weigandt every week and some rider interviews. Like Chad Reed and Kevin Windham.

For those that said Pulpmx, thank you. We appreciate it and much respect to DMXS, they've been there for a long time doing it. And that's why when we started, I didn't want to copy them in any way. No sense on that, people will see through that. That's why we have segments, take phone calls, play voice mails, commercials etc etc.

Tabulated our stats for the first quarter of 2012 the other day, we're up over 1200 per show from last year so pretty pumped on that. Thanks for listening.

Woohoo
Seriously though between Racer X podcast, Pulpmx, DMXS and Mxtalkradio I get my moto fix for the week. Throw in some Joe Rogan Experience and my windshield time is very enjoyable.

Pulp all the way

Sometimes I want to ring Watsons neck and sometimes hes a riot, its a weird love hate deal with that wacko.

Epic Boobs does a decent job producing the segments, but frankly none of them have a rapist wit and hes got a real Mr Rogers personality so he must be a tech guru or some crap cuz his not quick with any higher level of comedy......I could slay them on the mic when it comes to making peeps laugh.

Overall its an 8.5.... and to be a 10 (which does not currently exist out there in radio land) they still need help word smithing comedic moments better. I find my self saying jokes miliseconds after it was teed up then get annoyed they missed it...One suggestion is to spend more time listening to Stern, Kevin and Bean, Tosh.0, and Jim Rome. Bring a flair of each of those into moto somehow and maybe Matthes might have his beloved Lambo blaring Haggar rollin on og Kdubs, daytons on the mother ship beeoottch.

Thanks for all the input guys. I really appreciate it!

And one last thing....are there any MX satellite radio programs? I have considered getting XM/Sirius but honestly unless there is a bit of MX on there to listen to I probably won't.
