Moto Dad Throws Rock @ TWMX

I heard this second hand if anyone can confirm or deny please do. I was told today that a moto dad pick up a big rock or dirt clod and threw it at a racer during the race. The racer's front number plate was broken off the motorcycle. The offending moto dad did not get his ass kicked because the other father is CHP. The rock thrower's rider is a weak mid-pack novice, whose website.....well you just have to see for yourself. Thrower has been quoted "that's how we do it in Mexico". They were allowed to stay at Glen Helen to finish the day's races. Craig Decker or Donn Maeda I have a question, HAD THAT BEEN YOU OR ONR OF YOUR CHILDREN WOULD YOU HAVE BANNED THEM FROM TWMX????? Motocross is dangerous enough and having morons for managers or leasee's of the tracks makes it even more dangerous. How many straw bales or tires do you see at Milestone. I believe the rock thrower is the lease holder at Milestone. Now we will see if TWMX, Donn Maeda and Craig Decker stand up for whats right or hail to the dollar. What's it going to be guy's???

I've been at my kid's soccer tournament all day and have yet to hear of this incident.

Perhaps you should verify facts before starting a soap-box rant on the Internet.

True, I am looking to bring this out and asked for additional info in my first sentence. Names from the moto world? Not sure what your point is. My hope is/was because of their moto world experience/exposure that maybe the dollar would not be the only concern of the promoters.

Anyway, this sounds like an incident that happened several months ago. The dad's kid was DQed and he has not been back to a TWMX race since (including the one at Milestone), to the best of my knowledge. I've missed a few though, as I was in Japan for a couple weeks.

I am all screwed up and offer my apologies. When told about today I misunderstood that it was a winter series race @ GH. Again let me apologize. And yes I was fired up because I thought how could they not get kicked out? I would think you have handled it already if not talk to Dillon Anderson's dad. And yes I will be crawling under a rock now. Sorry Donn

I don't know about this one incident but i have seen a moto mom throw rocks at another rider when her son went down and she ran out on the track to do it. There are some crazy ass moto parents in this world that for sure. Hell they're bad parents everywhere. And I know this has nothing to do with the OP. I'm bored now

On a lighter note :

Donn I have been to evey round of the spring series and I have to say you guys are doing an amazing job. Yesterdays layout at Glen Helen was great and made for some good racing.

My son is out there getting ready for Hangtown (first time riding in Cali). Practiced at Glen Helen on Saturday and raced on Sunday.....he def likes it there!! (and he never mentioned any incidents either)
