With nothing but respect for Jeff and his family. The Alessi camp made it quite public that Colarodo would be his last national before the money ran out. Does anyone know who stepped up and helped them out? I am "stoked" he is still out there. just curious

If I was having a great season and ran out of cheese and my bro was a factory rider with a high 6 figure salary and he didnt help me out, I dont think I would speak to him for a while and would def lose some respect for him!!
At Red Bud, Moto XXX paid for Jeff.
Tony, is buying two Honda 450s for Alan Brown, at Moto XXX , in return for another two races.
Then Tony, is going to ask Jeff's, big brother Mike, to lay down the spendolas for Jeff to finish his stellar season.
He will finish the season !
Mike has no Obligation to help Jeff Race.
Jeff is doing pretty good , He should be able to maintain on his own.
I am glad I do not have a brother who thinks like you. I would do everything I could to help ANYONE in my family if I had the means. Especially my brother who is doing very well.
Pit Row
No sweat, just make it a point to meet up with him at an event. He is cool and very well versed in most things racing!

Apologies 500guy!!
If you always bail your kid out and keep giving them money, they will have no idea what its like to earn it.
Jeff even said he was handed things he didn't "earn". At some point a parent has to say your on your own, and Mike is in that position.
Jeff is perfectly capable of getting a real job like any other privateer who doesn't make it.
That said, if he keeps up, he will make it, and that is where the Grey area exists. If Mike keeps helping Jeff out, and his results continue to be excellent, he has a greater chance of getting a ride. However, same case, the industry might not feel the need to pick him up as they will think Mike will always pay for him. Sucks to be taken advantage of like that...but business is business to a lot of companies.
On top of that, neither Alessi brother has historically been a great Supercross rider, especially Jeff. It makes him harder to pick up from a business perspective, as Supercross seems to be where teams focus.
I am just saying, as a I would personally pay for him like I would pay for my younger brother (and do pay). Here's to hoping he gets a solid ride, and Mike doesn't have to pay.
Jeff gets all the access to training , tracks a place to live ect.
I'm just saying Mike isn't obligated to pay and if he was smart he would invest the money instead of lose it racing.
Keep in mind Jeff could race at MotoXXX without paying, if he wanted to give up his Helmet and Gear Sponsors , Obviously They pay more than he thinks he can make.
There is alot of positioning going on trying to gain support , Hell it's a game, Jeff never said he didn't have the money just that he wasn't going to keep going if someone didnt step up.
Also props out to the MotoXXX guys.
It must be hard to be in his brother's long shadow but you never hear him complaining or making excuses.
Props to him for some great rides and keeping focused on the task at hand.
mike and jeff are as tight as two brothers can be I bet.
