The 449 is pretty bad, but the 250 is really nice IMO.

Cool vid. Looks like they swapped out the ugly front fender. Now they just need to dump the back fender.

and the number plate lol. I think they should just make the 449 and 511 models look like the 250f, 310 and 2-stroke bikes.

I'd love to see how Dowd could do at Southwick on that bike but I don't think it's homologated.

I saw him on it a couple weeks ago at a local southwick race. He didn't look at home on it. He got beat by a few local kids in the 250A class. It looked like he was fighting the bike. I asked him afterwards what he thought and gave me the pc answer of "it's a nice bike but it takes some getting used you, especially in the sand. It does some weird things that I'm not used to". I got the impression that he went out of his way to sugar coat it. I walked away thinking "wow, that thing must be a real pos". He did say that the 250f was nice.

Ah. I wonder if he plans to show up at Southwick on the trusty Kawasaki then. He did say he wants to do that race till he's 50 I think. Smile

I did see the trusty Kawabunga is his pits sitting there all nice and clean but I'm not sure Husky would be too happy if he did that. I don't know anything about that relationship. Maybe the support is coming from the dealership and not coming directly from husky. If that were true then its probably no big deal since Chaplin does kawi as well.
