That was a sweet pass that Dungey put on Weimer in that big sweeper early on.

But in the end Weimer screwed Millsaps when he parked the Dunge and pissed him off.

First time I have wanted both riders to win.
Respectable ride for RD Hell of a comeback. Davi Sorta got screwed although I am not sure he new RD was that close, He might not have backed off like he did. Dungey seemed like he was pulling a bob sled especially at the beginning. Cobwebs from earlier? Better racing to watch for sure.

No kidding. I was waiting for a replay of the tomac/ wilson incident but dungey just handled business as usual. No degrading comments on the podium or anything. I like Weimer by I think he needs to learn who to pick his battles with. I was scared for dungey on the first lap of his heat race. He looked like the bike was giving him fits.

I just watched the race. Good ride for Dungey, his bike didn't look that good but he got er done. What the heck is wrong with beef Goerke? Cost Davi over a hundred grand...

I like Dungey but he is not the last word in MX, Jake Weimer moved him off the track. RV would have put him out of the race.

That's why RD and Villo raced heads up all last summer not taking each other out once?

He has a "Never give up" attitude. Its a huge help to his career.

Great guy... hope to see more success in his future.

No one said he was "the last word in MX" - he is no Ricky ( yet Wink ) but neither is Villo.

Just never count Dungey out. He rarely crashes, he is so physically strong, he is determined, mentally strong, looks ahead, keeps his wits about him. He is almost the total package in an MX / SX racer. No one can argue these facts.

And I think there is a lot more respect between him and RV than your post suggested.

Was there cheering on Weimer, what a race, place went absolutely nuts when Weimz took out Dungey, majority of the crowd stood for over half the race, had such a good time, Dungey was absolutely flying towards the end but looked uncomfortable the majority of the night to me. . To those of you who say you don't want to watch or go to a race cause some of the top guys are out with injuries are really missing out.

After the intentional takeout Weimer looked more concerned with where Dungey was then where he himself was. Typical Weimer, rides like a little wiener. Great comeback by RD to take the win.

I think Dungey should have THANKED Weimer on the podium, because if you look how how much that bump fired him up to get back to the front, I think it really got him back in race mode. He didn't really look like his old self (at least to me) until he dusted himself off and went after Jake.

My point is obvious to anyone with a brain, so I guess I will have to clarify for you. Weimer is not capable of beating RD cleanly and he knows it, as was obvious by JW's paranoid ride after the "pass". RD caught him from more then 4 seconds back in 6 or 7 laps and blew by him while Weimer hid on the outside of the sweeper. Classic Weimer, as they say "If you wanna hang with the big dogs you can't piss like a pup".

You're an angry little guy Queerdo. Weimer is doing fine. First you cry about his pass and then say he's acting like a pup... which is it?

And you're an RV fanboy incapable of genuinely commending Ryan Dungey on a great ride. Why did you comment in this thread, just to say that Dungey should have won and call Husqerdo names?

Yep, Dungey did good to pull that one out. I would have actually like to see Davi win that one. I'm kind of impressed with Weimer this season. He's had some challenges, but keeps fighting. I would imagine that he'ss still building up strength to handle the extra girth of the 450. Good to see him on the podium.

What would it take for Dungey to get 2nd in points? Someone have the top 10 points breakdown?

Supercross Point Standings
1. Ryan Villopoto 323
2. Davi Millsaps 244
3. Justin Brayton 237
4. Ryan Dungey 232

Whiner was happy to be on the podium...very happy. He should be...cuz he.knows he could have still been laying on the track wondering how many fingers doc bodnar was holding up.

The way I saw it, Dungey had a hit coming from Weimer after what he did to him earlier in the season. I was not surprised at all when Weimer ran him off the track. Dungey should have been expecting it, and hugged the inside.

I was EXTREMELY impressed with the way Dungey rode after getting up off the ground. The didn't look smooth, but he sure was fast!

Can't wait for the outdoors!

Anyone wanna take the bet that Ryan either get's beat by, or, has to race real damn hard against his old bike with his own set-up ...?

Anyone?

Bueller?

Anyone?

Hell, the only different parts I expect to see are: front rotor (280 Tsunami), Bars, Grips, Levers, Pegs...

Yup! Metty's got a Team-mate.
