Pastrana looks to have the best chance to crossover of any of the MXers who have attempted it.

You know Scott Riggs is an MXer right? He comes out to the local tracks and is very fast, like local pro fast!

Here is some of his bio...

It is Riggs’ humble roots that have gotten him where he is today in the world of NASCAR. Riggs started his racing career on two-wheels in AMA Motocross competition at the age of 14. He won the North Carolina State Championship two years in a row and finished third in the 1987 National Competition. Riggs eventually moved into NASCAR’s Mini Stock Division at the age of 17, making quite an impression by winning a dozen races in just three seasons. He then set his sights on the NASCAR Late Model Stock division in 1990.

Wow, Pastrana should be ashamed of himself for leaving real sports and going to drive in circles. Sad.

Not saying NASCAR isn't fun. I enjoy going for hikes and it can really get your endorphins going, but racing motocross is like hiking ecept you are chased by a bear. No matter the outcome, win or lose, it is one he'll of an adrenaline rush!

That in-car audio is Greg Biffle, not Kurt Busch.

Well, he's spent a good bit of time in cars the last little while, even if rally demands different skills.

Not really trying to troll. I'm just saying, leaving moto for FMX sucks. Then leaving that for rally, sucks even more. Then leaving rally to go around and around on the pavement? I mean, sure, he's probably making 100x more making left turns, but it still seems like a huge waste of talent to me. IDGAF who's in that car, there isn't a chance in hell you'll catch me in front of a TV watching hillbillies drive in circles for 5 hours.

I was impressed with TP's run last night. Without the speeding ticket he'd been in for a solid top 20 finish.
I'm confident the dude will get this dialed in soon and with the right equipment I wouldn't be surprised to see him succeed.

I think it's funny when I hear moto guys refer to NASCAR with phrases like "hillbillies diving around in circles" - it's ironic, a lot like a baseball player referring to golf as "boring."

Driving a NASCAR car is a real hoot. I went to Disney World and did the R Petty Expereince twice. 30 laps by yourself following a pace car. If you stay with in 3 car lengths he takes you faster. If you drop off or crowd him, he slows down.

Awesome experience for $1200.00 Both times I set fastest speed and quickest lap times of all the particpants. Riding bikes gives one a fairly good feel via the seat of the pants.

Would love to race circles (if someone else was paying the bills) I will stick to dirt bikes (since I am paying the bills)

Can't believe he didn't crash, good job TP. I see him having a better go at this than Carmichael did. Travis has a stronger team and the rally car background.

No doubt, he's spent a lot of time behind a steering wheel in the past several years.
