Hey guys, before I get some opinions I figured I should introduce myself. My name is Daniel, been a long time follower and finally decided to take the Vital plunge so to speak. I've been racing for 13 years now, just local stuff. But over all I just love to ride.
With that said, I'm taking my wife to her very first SX race in Salt Lake. I want to make sure she gets the full experience. We will definately be hitting up the pits early Saturday, but I was wondering if there will be anything at local shops or something of that nature going on Friday night? Thanks for any help!!!

I'm sure someone will post here about the events, if not Racer X usually has the rundown on Wednesday or Thursday for the appearances.
Have a great trip and she'll love the SX.
Welcome to Vital.

Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
there's a beer/food joint called The Bayou, check it out. awesome food and a HUGE book of beers.
Friday from 2-7 at Full Throttle (about 10 minutes north of SLC) in Centerville is the Factory Kawi signing.
we have a big group tailgating in the south east parking lot from the Stadium. beer is not sold in the stadium, so in SLC the consuming is held outside the stadium, unless you bring a flask.
also, just down the road from the stadium is a bar called the Green Pig, good joint.
all of this is assuming you drink alcohol
In advance of the Salt Lake City Supercross, Yamaha supported teams JGRMX, Star Valli Yamaha and Rock River Powersports will be signing autographs:
Date: Friday, April 27
Time: 6pm-7pm
Location: Plaza Cycle
And yes I do drink alcohol ha ha
don't forget to bring your warm clothes. it's been hotter than hell for the last week but it's supposed to get cold.
and as we see every year, the weather never does what everyone hopes it will. last year was cold, the year before it snowed, and the year before i think it was ok but cold.
I had a great time every time we went to SLC SX. 24 hour drive to get there... but it was worth it.
We also went out to St. Pierre I think its called, right on the Nevada/Utah border. Spent a day there in the sun, by the pool. It was super relaxing.
Utah has a pile of naturally beautiful women.... must be all the clean living. But, a ton of non-trashy gorgeous women. That part was sweet too... ha ha
Heavily.
Traffic on I-15 South is stupid at that time of day, so give yourself plenty of time to get there if you want to see Rocky, Moose Can and Dunge.
+1 on The Bayou and warm clothes recommendations.
