lol hey I wanted to try them all man.. I rode Honda since 1986 with a few other brands here and there but mostly Honda . In 2010 is when I went on my quest to see what 450 I liked the best. I liked the 350 and this Honda the best and also love 2strokes, id like to get a 03-06 CR 250 to rebuild . Im over buying bikes ill keep the Honda for a few years and will probably stay on Honda.
Let me know when you're selling that Honda.....Now you have me wanting one. I still have the 350. If I could stop having surgeries(appendix decided to shit the bed 3wks ago) maybe i would actually be able to ride it.....

Here's mine. Countless hours of work on this thing, both manual and mental. Lots of details.

Thanks man. I took inspiration from the Factory YZ125's of the 1990's. I did nothing that wouldn't provide a performance boost. Not so much bling, but lots of attention to detail and just enough special stuff to make you notice there's something special about it. Then you hear it sing and you know it's built to win.

Nice bike. Always liked the red plastics with blue trim. I only have a motorcycle now, but have way more time racing quads then motorcycles.

See if you can get a hand cone pipe out of Duncan, they used to make some great ones.

This is what mine looked like last year. Have some yellow plastic and hurricane graphics that will soon be insted. I used to ride suzukis but bought a Yamaha last summer.

Those bikes look suh-weet!!!

I am baffled as to why Husky leaves the silencer exposed and cretainly more prone to damage. True a numberplate/side panel is not bulletproof armor BUT if impacted it distributes the impact across the size of the panel where there is usually a raised rubber grommet to rest against. It may not seem like much but it can be a pretty good protector providing just enough of a buffer to reduce impact force.

I am not trashing the bikes they are REALLY nice 2 strokes just curious as that was my first thought when I originally saw this design........Have you experienced any times where a good amount of damage occured to the silencer from even a washout or a small crash?

I think this was right after I bought her. When I sold it, the guy that bought it said it was for his brother in law who had never ridden anything bigger then an 80 and it sounded like the guy barely knew how to ride. I'm sure it got hammered on.

Oh that bike is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!

Mine is bone stock aside from an exhaust system (which I won on the pulpmx show as "chalmers" haha) so it needed a silencer t9o go with it. The exhaust, v-force, and springs front/rear and to accomidate my size (tall seat, lowered pegs, and bar risers).....other than that she is as stock as it gets which is amazingly well done and given how good the bike is out of the crate I am more than pleased with its performance, doesnt need anything else (possibly a revalve at some point but with the springs and messing with the oil level I can live with the stock suspension).

IMO stock bikes (if they dont have a glaring flaw in design) always perform at their best, all the R&D put into the bike gives it a perfect harmonnic balance, once things get added to a bike where critical parts play onto the physics of the chassis you cant ever recreate the stock feel with aftermarket parts..... Ive tried it all regarding add on parts clamps etc..... the vikes seemed to get progressively worse.....of course this is my opinion but I notice even the smallest of things (chanes)

Anyone that hasnt ridden one of these last generation RM's you are cheating yourself out of having the pleaseure to ride one of the best all around dirtbikes EVER produced.

My first 350. Next to my old YZ125, this is one of the best bikes I've ever ridden.

Another one of our 100cc bikes. Jim Gibson races this one. Carbon panels, and carbon gas tanks, all legal. How is this for an 83 yz100.

Before I got mine I rode my buddies bike (lopez130). He had the same exact bike and year. I loved it right away and it handled so well that I just had to have it.

Might have to go find another one.

I had the exact same bike as well. Only had the sag set and that was it. The BEST handling bike I have ever had, and I instantly began holeshotting at least one moto per weekend in the 250 class. Once even with the 40th pick on the far outside against all 250fs, bone stock. I loved that bike so much, apparently others did too. I sold it out of state to an out of state business owner who sent an employee and an envelope full of cash for it. The guy never saw it run or gave it a look over.

Man I miss that bike, bought it brand new in '10 although it was an '06. My only complain, tell me if you've noticed the same, is that it seemed to kick me over the bars a lot. It may have been because of my increase in speed over the years but I began going over the bars way more than on other bikes I have owned. I still loved it though, seeing pictures of all of yours make me want to buy another!
