See if you can get a hand cone pipe out of Duncan, they used to make some great ones.

Bit of Kandi love !! A bit different.
I am baffled as to why Husky leaves the silencer exposed and cretainly more prone to damage. True a numberplate/side panel is not bulletproof armor BUT if impacted it distributes the impact across the size of the panel where there is usually a raised rubber grommet to rest against. It may not seem like much but it can be a pretty good protector providing just enough of a buffer to reduce impact force.
I am not trashing the bikes they are REALLY nice 2 strokes just curious as that was my first thought when I originally saw this design........Have you experienced any times where a good amount of damage occured to the silencer from even a washout or a small crash?
Pit Row
My x-darling, weapon of choice in the US... Won't post my present one, nothing to see really...
Mine is bone stock aside from an exhaust system (which I won on the pulpmx show as "chalmers" haha) so it needed a silencer t9o go with it. The exhaust, v-force, and springs front/rear and to accomidate my size (tall seat, lowered pegs, and bar risers).....other than that she is as stock as it gets which is amazingly well done and given how good the bike is out of the crate I am more than pleased with its performance, doesnt need anything else (possibly a revalve at some point but with the springs and messing with the oil level I can live with the stock suspension).
IMO stock bikes (if they dont have a glaring flaw in design) always perform at their best, all the R&D put into the bike gives it a perfect harmonnic balance, once things get added to a bike where critical parts play onto the physics of the chassis you cant ever recreate the stock feel with aftermarket parts..... Ive tried it all regarding add on parts clamps etc..... the vikes seemed to get progressively worse.....of course this is my opinion but I notice even the smallest of things (chanes)
Anyone that hasnt ridden one of these last generation RM's you are cheating yourself out of having the pleaseure to ride one of the best all around dirtbikes EVER produced.
Another one of our 100cc bikes. Jim Gibson races this one. Carbon panels, and carbon gas tanks, all legal. How is this for an 83 yz100.
Might have to go find another one.

Man I miss that bike, bought it brand new in '10 although it was an '06. My only complain, tell me if you've noticed the same, is that it seemed to kick me over the bars a lot. It may have been because of my increase in speed over the years but I began going over the bars way more than on other bikes I have owned. I still loved it though, seeing pictures of all of yours make me want to buy another!
