Maybe their program isn't all it is cracked up to be. They are bringing the football mentality to the sport, even tho moto already has a very high turnover rate.

Grant(2009-2010), Brayton (2010-2011) and Millsaps (2011-current) all rode 2 years for JGR.

The first year 2008 was Josh Summey and Hansen.
2009 was Grant and Cody Cooper.
2010 Grant and Brayton.
2011 Brayton and Millsaps
2012 Millsaps and Stewart.

This kinda stuff cracks me up. You think he hasn't done enough preparation? You think that based on what? Seriously? You really don't know a damn thing if you think James had lacked preparation.

Pure speculation of course but I actually see this working.

Reed wants a rider who can win races or the championship. He's not interested in hiring a top 5 guy. IF Stewart wanted to prove himself again and IF he wanted to race the outdoors, I could see both guys putting aside their personal differences to win a championship.

But it's a big IF at this stage....

It would also depend on many other things, assuming Stewart even likes the Factory Honda. Apparently he wasn't a fan of the production Honda.

Dude is trying to change something. There is just that much abuse human body can take. Ether it`s the bike itself or it`s in his head doesn`t matter. Changes needs to be made or he`s toast. You can`t blame a guy for trying. And don`t start with all that "honoring your contract" crap. Man`s got to do what a man`s got to do.

From the crying on the podium last year I would say the bike heavily had held him back last year and I think even though it was a "different" bike as possible this year he still couldn't gel with it......its not like he's the first, hell reed NEVER agreed with the kawi and it was well known he essentially left the team in the same amount of time race-wise due to sitting out most of sx. The bike just didn't work for James so let's see what he can do on a zook if that's the route he is gonna go which I hope he does.and I hope he comes back and makes a name for himself again and makes a statement I will not judge it against yamaha ....by the same logic the kawi that poto was killing it on before the 12 bike was what reed was riding and hated

Just answer me this one question. How come, in all his time on a Yamaha, has he still been so dominant during the 8 lap heat races and in timed qualifying?

It was like langston said about the bike..... He could ride it hard for a while then all of a sudden it would start acting up ....possibly due to the shock heating up or whatever happens with that chassis.....his conditioning is not a question to me .... Even millsaps said when they asked him "i was doing the same thing lap after lap and I have no idea what happened" when he crashed this weekend.... I think James can only trust that bike due to its unpredictability to do the same thing/reaction lap after lap .... James could Sprint out on a short lap heat and cruise to the win w/o pushing for an entire 20 minutes .... He has told matthes too that he cannot ride over the front of the bike like he has done all his life ....it just happens, rv was not doing well in the 2nd motos last year outdoors because the bike wouldn't work as good once the track got worse..... Got on the 12 and problem solved. I think James needs the same thing to a certain degree
