I highly doubt that Mike is cheating,hell I've seen him holeshot on a 350. I also doubt that you can keep a team afloat
on holeshot money.

I talked to Kenny a bit ago, and he said that he didn't actually accuse Mike of cheating, and that was never his intent. He agrees that Mike's one of the best starters ever, and wasn't trying to create a ruckus...more pointing out how things were back in the day when you'd see guys get starts like that.

But like I said in Genova's thread, if anybody wants to hear it for themselves, and be able to draw their own conclusions from it, the whole thing starts at the 57 minute mark of this weeks show.

Correction, he said that he didn't understand how a privateer guy was beating factory bikes (he specifically said factory Honda) to the corner.

Varner called me a few weeks back and said that we were going to be called cheaters and to get ready for it.The factory guys have a lot of resorces but there just pepole I have a lot of resorces also .

I listened to the show last night and what he says on that show is pretty clear. He does insinuate and creates the assumption that it is pretty weird that Mike is getting all those holeshots on that "privateer" bike; says there must be something. Says we all know how good of a starter the Honda is and that Mike is even better with his bike.

Whatever he spins now is a bit too late, it wasn't sounding like a joke. But hey, he loves Mike, loves Genova and him and Tony are real good Smile LOL

Curious what you think a current 450 is capable of hp wise? Obviously with 65hp, there's a huge emphasis on keeping it ridable. If you were to build a mid-range & up or just top-end motor, what kind of hp do you think is achievable?

Jimmy Button told me one of his 400's(426?) dyno'd 76hp and was basically unrideable. Power came on too hard. He also appeared to snicker about the actual displacement.Smile

Didn't Watson say that Deegan was cheating when he rode for motoxxx and even the supercross race that he won . I willing to bet there is a lot of people out there cheating one way or another
