since the payout for a 250 win is only $89......shouldnt the fine be like $28?

He will not be happy, and will beat them by even more seconds............GO BARCIA!
Agreed, Dungey, RV, Reed, James, Baggett, they all have had their moments. It's nice to have some fire in the belly, that's what makes them elite level racers. IMO, as long as they eventually come to their senses and make amends, it's all good. Good chattin with ya.

BS... as I said in another thread... he is NOT a young kid... he is over 18 and he is a man and needs to start acting like one.

he can vote for president and die for his country and there are thousands of more mature 18 year old soldier, sailors, marines, and airman out there making life and death decisions every day in Afghanistan and not letting their childish emotions get the best of them.

maybe this chump should start acting his age and setting an example... quit protecting and enabling this sort of cry baby behavior... it cheapens this great sport I have been a part of for over 25 years!!!!

I actually think the worse punishment for him is the fact that it was such a public childish meltdown!
he (hopefully) will be extremely embarassed and I bet the boo birds will hammer him
he'll have lost a lot of 'cusp' fans.. the people that didn't have an opinion of him, will now and I don't think it will favourable

I agree with the fine, but I also think they should put him on probation for the rest of the season. Any more antics like this, or his signature move of deliberately slamming into riders out on track and he get benched!
Let's see if Barcia can ride clean for a change?

I also think it puts his selection for team USA at MXDN in doubt! He doesn't seem to be emotionally mature enough to deal with adversity out on track.
What if he has a similar meltdown in a MXDN qualifying race and get's caught up in revenge out on track that costs the team badly?
Better for Roger to pick someone who is more level headed!

Sure no one doubts that those guys in our military make for very mature people and make life or death decisions but you are naive to believe that 18/19 year old's aren't still immature. Eighteen might make you a man in the eyes of the law but it doesn't make you a man by no means. Hell in the real world other guys don't really give your man status til, at the earliest, late 20's but usually in the 30's before you get the full respect of other men.

I mean I like Barcia but does he do stupid shit sometimes? Sure he does. My point is the VAST majority of 18-20 year olds are still kids at heart and in mind. Am I biased? Sure I am! I have a two sons about that age!! And I do not consider them grown men yet! Sorry I just do not!!

I would imagine that Bogle and Barcia will be getting a good talking to by LaRocco about their behavior. I can't imagine that FC and Geico think they are being represented well regardless of the wins that come with it.
