Cheers for the video!

Is it me or has that M83 soundtrack 'Midnight City' become de rigueur for all action sports video's at the moment? Not complaining as I like it, just seems to be on everything right now.
I thought it fit well and that was a good and informative vid overall.

Should be on MotoOnline.com.au site. It might work on there. Worth a try.

that's massive!! but I'm sure we're about to find out that no two jumps can be large

they need to be compared and one will be deemed easy and the other will only be for the greatest riders haha

Bopping was the only one today to do that jump. Even too big for Townley, I believe they shortened it after no one wanted to jump it on the press day as well. Pretty crazy, they rarely run the track straight over drunks hill either, it usually swings from the lip off to the left, you can see the normal track in the vid and there's usually a small kicker in the run up. Haven't seem them run that layout in years because the jump was too dangerous.
The jump was not changed at all after press day. I saw that reported elsewhere as well. It was shortened prior to press day after a test run. Still a little big by the looks. That is the original direction of the jump and was changed only for something different not due to been dangerous. I'm glad someone got that on camera as I was busy at another part of the track at the time. Great day of racing. Townley in a class of his own. Ford Dale on fire in the lites as well. Shame he had a get off in the last one.

Ford Dale was on the plane home with us today to go and spend 10 days or so training with BT101, not that he looked liked he needed the help but it sure cant hurt,

BT was gone, and the big jump was massive, can see why no one tried it in the race,

After watching the initial video of Bopping jumping it, I thought it was just the triple that you could see in that video.

But then I saw this video and realised he was jumping all the way over to that 4th landing.....DAMN!!!!!! That's fuckin nuts!

It would be awesome if a video shows up of him jumping the whole thing from take off to landing Cool

I didnt realise you were there Scott, Were you part of the Cooper fan club with the yellow Ts on ?

I think I stole him away for a quick chat after qualifying when you guys were at the team truck. It was a great day's racing, and that jump was huge, Was lucky enough to be there when Bopping hit is, managed to get a shot but it was average and does not show the jump.

Great place to take some photos of riders scrubbing it, BT and Anderson were barley getting any air at stages, was unreal to watch.

Live timing issues sucked a little, but they will have that sorted, I seen what it is capable off and it will be impressive once it is up and running and everyone can view it.

Looks like they have more sorted at the race results are now up on the MXnationals web site.

Ando got 5th overall, BillyMac 10th (crashed a few times in opening race but got 3rd in the last race).

Think Coppins was 2nd, Moss third or fourth... cant remember the other rider before Brad.

edit, here you go;

MX1 Overall Results:
1. Ben Townley 75
2. Josh Coppins 62
3. Todd Waters 54
4. Jake Moss 46
5. Brad Anderson 44

MX2 Overall Results:
1. Kirk Gibbs 63
2. Ford Dale 62
3. Luke Styke 57
4. Josh Cachia 56
5. Adam Monea 50

Was Luke Clout not racing?
Was Dan Reardon racing? What did he do?

15th of April at Coonabarabran

If Townley races it, I might think about going to it.
