YOu know, with all the top guys who are out injured at the moment, if Jason is in OK shape and on a half decent bike, this would be the time to come back as he can easily make the top 5 at the moment with how depleted the field is.

But JLAW actually racing pro AMA again would be like me winning the lottery on Friday night IMo

I honestly hope Jlaw doesn't come back to racing motocross. I hope he stays with the GNCC's. That's really who needs the publicity right now. For one, I think it would increase spectators, but secondly I think it would also let him re-find what he loved about racing motorcycles to begin with. The kid is one of the few that has beaten RV2, RD5, and TC41 straight up. I never really was a fan of his, but I think everyone deserves a second chance.

A privateer and a mechanic, 2 bikes in a van, show up and run top 3.

Priceless.

how dope would it be if he showed up at the nationals and started running down dungey??

LOL

The "lol's" are quite accurate...to think JLaw could run Dungey's pace is laughable...outdoors? Shhhhyeeeeaaaahhh...riiiiight.

I hope 338 v.2 comes back though...always entertaining to watch him ride

He's obviously in decent shape since he waxed ass in that hare scramble up north. Back in the outdoors a few years back he wasn't even finishing a quarter of a moto. I'd like to see him com back with the same attitude, but less of the off track bull shit that was his downfall in the beginning. Hell of a talent for sure.

Not to dog on hare scrambles/ cc races, but there is no comparison in fitness required. The trails/courses greatly limit how fast you can go, limiting the intensity.

I don't know how much stock to put in this, but it'd be awesome to have a healthy, happy Jason Lawrence back on the track.

When Jason is focused and on his game, he is one of the most fun riders to watch.

I know it's from 5 years ago, but it never gets old! 2007 Budds Creek, Dungey vs. Grant vs. Lawrence

i will semi-concur with you on this.

i'm not saying that scrambles don't require fitness because the last one i did sure as hell beat the shit out of me... but i held a really good pace for 97 miles and was generally worn out. the last time i raced moto i was heaving and had arm-pump and the case of the huck-a-bucks after 5 laps.

totally different game.

however, if JLaw can go out and win a 2 hour hare-scramble by a few minutes, then his fitness is not too shabby

Last scramble I did, I made the mistake of running my moto suspension. Couldn't feel my hands after the second loop. Luckily my two smoker starts first kick while in gear, the rest was behind me.

Coy has been known to chuckle over a Vital post or two.

Like someone mentioned earlier, when Jason's happy, healthy, and serious, he's fun to watch. He can also be a threat.

That video is why MX is the greatest sport in the world.

4:23 is epic. he sits up, looks over, patiently waits for grant to clear the apex, and pulls the trigger.

I actually think Jason would really enjoy riding for JGR. Coy is straight up no bull. As in, he's someone you can trust. JLaw has been burned by people in the past (and done plenty of his own burning) and doesnt really trust a whole lot of people in this industry (for good reason).

JLaw & Bubba as teammates. The two most marketable racers in the sport as far as Im concerned.
i think j law would flourish under H&H team with hill and hanson as his teammates. IMO, one extreme or the other is his answer; either a totally laid back type of team such as H&H or a straight shooter take no bull kind of team like JGR that would can his ass for probably the first offense may be what keeps him on the straight path to moto glory.

I agree, i thought if he ever came back it would be to H&H, but after listening to a Pulp Mx Show awhile back with Carey Hart, he mentioned a story about Jlaw and sort of sent the message that he wasn't a very big fan. Kenny Watson on a different Pulp show also said that he wouldn't want someone like Jlaw on the team, but i couldn't tell if he was serious or not.

JGR in NASCAR has had Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch, they are not as big a ball buster you think.

Uh oh, looks like we pushed someones button. Why do you think that moto guys can dominate cc but not the other way around? It's not just their skill set. Moto is more of a sprint, I never mentioned anything about endurance. Who's the idiot?

Yeah, things could change though. Every rider on the H&H teams contract is up this year (besides JH100). Josh in an interview that was posted yesterday said that he likes Jlaw and misses him out there racing. So if this JGR rumor doesn't hold up, maybe we could see Jlaw under the H&H tent sometime. Pure speculation on my part, just throwing it out there.

So, without reading this thread, I'm guessing this is about JLAW riding Outdoors (y'know).

I'm all for it, if he can finish the motos and put in an effort, I'd LOVE to see it.

Hey, at this point, all my boys are out. Let's stir some shit up, and hope The Outdoors give us a longer, more drawn out sense of Non-Dominance.

So basically he's saying in the first comment he is currently not with them, but not ruling out the fact they are talking to him or have something planned for the future... I used to really not like the kid, but really respected his ridiculous skill on a dirt cycle and straight up being what he thought he was, even more so now seeing the pics and results for the cc racing.. Would look forward to seeing him come back with the robotic riders we get to see on the podium now, would absolutely love nothing more than to see that dude and Barcia go bar to bar and hang it out for some reason, like "dude you think you'll bang?".. Kinda like the old Damon Wayans bit about Dennis Rodman playing D on Magic Johnson after the "comeback"

I know everybody has this vision of what they think H&H is, but they are a serious team and they want to build a contending program. I don't think that plan includes Jason.

You would think that with all the vital members on here someone would be friends with him and could maybe give some hints on what he's got cookin these days. I know he just wants to fly under the radar but you know friends are the worst at keeping shit a secret lol.
