I'll gladly give another 25 a peice to each rider who qualifies for the night show, and more if they made the Main. This just proves that 2 guys who hadn't been racing supercross and definitely weren't in the swing of things as far as the supercross schedule goes were able to go out there, and give it their all on underpowered bikes and have fun while doing it, you'll be hard pressed to find a guy out there who is having fun being a privateer.
there should be more guys like Renner and Smith who go against the grain and do what is right for the sport, and not just be the other sheep that follows the heard of 4 jokes

I think a few people on here take this 2 vs 4 thing a bit too far..... but anyway as you can see from my avatar i just brought an old two stroke (for $2500, i usually buy a new bike each year but a new 4st is about 10k here!) im having just as much fun, maybe more at a much cheaper and more manageable price. im not die hard 2st, would be happy to buy and ride a new thumper but i do believe that the manufacturers should make both and race both.
I simply am interested in seeing how the two strokes would compare to the fours at the pro level.

Thought it was an exciting day, two underdogs going against the grain. It's not a 2 v's 4 thing for me its about being different. Hope both Smith and Renner are inspired to do it again... I've become a huge fan.

But in the interest of providing viewers with the stories of the nights racing, why wouldn't they mention a guy on a antiquated underpowered 2T that ran to 8th place? Especially in light of the Tweets being sent about that situation bring it to their attention.
I'm not jumping to the conclusion they were told not to mention it but I not going to believe it wasn't an intentional 'oversight'.
The all mighty dollar rules pretty much everything, to think otherwise is naive IMO.
I am surprised at all the support for the 2 stroke riders, some satalite need to field a 2 stroke rider. The publicity for the rider and team would help to pay for the effort. Plus you could bill it as the peoples team and have individuals sponser the rider and his results like many have done for Ricky and Ryan.
