When I was watching the race I thought of the same possibility; that maybe he wasn't in shape and was tired. But the more likely scenario is that he realized he wasn't going to get much further than Millsaps and backed it off a bit. It would be a pretty awful outcome if James took Davi, himself, or both out in an attempt to get around Davi. I'm sure he was just being cautious.

Also, I think it's pretty lame for Chad to tweet what he did. Whether it was a joke or not, a lot of people read his tweets and it was very unprofessional. He came off as very immature and selfish.
