In the interest of historical accuracy;

I believe the announcing crew for BooKoo AX coined the nickname Bam Bam for Tyler in 2006, years before Justin was on the big bike.

Tyler, what kind of changes do you guys go through coming from AX into SX? Do you know of any other AX riders from your team, or the series, coming to SX this weekend? Could you hook up a signed jersey at STL that I could donate to my local MC club?

Thanks Tim. When would be a good time to stop by? I will probably be in the pits during general pit admission time.

Will you guys be under the Babbit's truck? Or how can I find you?

I'm a fan of AX and the bulldog.
Will be routing for Tyler.
Always interested in seeing AX racers in SX.
Having the Champ compete is a plus.

Well my prediction for him is about 8-10, I don't see him beating any of the pc guys, fc guys, wharton, roczen, or Cunningham, he might sneek up to 7 if somebody crashes though.

Bowers laid a whooping in Reno AX, would not surprise me to see him in the top 10. His size and aggressiveness is going to make the already crazy east lites even more fun now.

Easy their Mr. T, Sounds like your tough guy attitude should have instead been followed by "I used to get paid to get punched in the face, and I do not even have the sac to use any avatar".

Haha...guess you just dont know Tim.(hes def not the one getting punched!) He is a really nice guy and would help ANYONE who asked. Racing the ams, and even tho Tyler was a few years older than Joey, Tim and my ex Joe were always friends. Very personable and friendly.
Everbody has a different personality. Cant all be the same. Hes a hot head (like my ex) but by reading some of his posts here seems hes softening up just a bit..lol
Good Luck this weekend Tyler!

Looking forward to seeing 911 run this weekend. Saw him at Daniel Boone several years ago racing B class. His corner speed was unbelievable on the 450. Third gear pinned in the turn after the old finish line jump; unreal!. Good luck this weekend.

My bad, I knew Chelcy did not sound right. No disrespect, but you have a beautiful daughter! I remember constantly walking by the rig at Lorreta's for a couple years. Hope to see Tyler running up front on Saturday. Big fan of his skills for sure! People seem to forget that most of these guys are just kids. And I dont know one kid, myself included, that hasnt done something they are not proud of. Go Get Em man!

Actually the kid that he hit wasn't a stranger, it was another rider at our Warthog Racing Academy that Tim was running at the time. Tyler beat the shit out of Devin Raper, I believe, and when Raper was on the ground, bleeding from his broken face, witnesses say that Tim Bowers (Tyler's dad, the OP of this thread) stood there telling Tyler to "Finish him off!"

Tyler was prosecuted for it, but I'm not sure what became of it. I'm sure Tyler regrets the incident, and hopefully Tim does also, Either way, it ended any association that our Warthog program had with the Bowers. I hope Tyler does well this weekend, I've never had a problem with him, other than that.

Good times in the Bowers clan. I could help but laugh a little bit when he couldn't compete last year because he broke both of his legs. Karma is a bitch.

Wow. I gave you a perfect opportunity to man up and set the record straight about what happened...maybe even apologize...and instead you tell people to not "believe the hate", whatever that means. I'm not sure what hate you are referring to, but I'm sure Devin hated having his jaw wired shut, or whatever the consequence was of the unnecessary beating he took at Tyler's hands, while you cheerleaded! (Cheer-led? Cheered? Whatever! LOL)

What would talking about it here solve or prove ?

Didn't the authorities already process this ?
