If you can't admire this guy's determination to try to be the best in this sport, you are not a fan of MX/SX.

He was at the top of his game until the catastrophe at Millville, and again tonight. This guy deserves more respect than anyone out there for putting everything he has on the line. A true moto HERO.

Chad, you are one of the BEST and ballsiest! My heart sank tonight.

Respect to you my friend.

The difference is, one does it rarely while the other does it frequently.......

Well Reed and Stewart go about racing very differently, especially over the last 3 years.

One thing I know is if that tough muthafucka can ride he will... Dude has put himself through some nasty shit before and ridden it out, he'll make sure he's in the hunt if there is point 1 percent of fuck all chance he can race...

Same it's ruined the whole season for me as a fan, I really hope Reed's injury is not to serious. It's probably the best I've seen Reed race since his 250 2 stroke days, change in line and over the bars Sad

I don't understand this place, we all know if that was Stewart in 2nd chasing RV down then everyone would start a thread "see, I knew he'd take himself out for the season sooner or later"

Hope Reed is ok, but these threads are just silly on how he deserves the most respect and other top athletes are made fun of.

*no disrepect to Terry either, I just read like 3 of these threads that have the same types of posts in them.

The difference with Stewart is, you can see it is coming a lap or two beforehand. Reed was looking spot on before this freak accident.

Ya, I think you are right. The thing is, it seems people think it was in the bag that Reed would pass RV and win ultimately if that didn't happen which I don't think is the case (like last week).

IF he is out for the season ( and God I hope he isn't ) then the rest of the SX Championship will be a little less exciting.

Chad, please be well, and come back next week! Unsure

Was shaping up to be an epic battle. Really sucks for Reed and everyone watching. Seems like the entire mood in the place changed when he crashed. Hope he is just a little banged up and will be back soon!

Very well said, sir.

I'm with AUS_Twisted.

Once that went down the season just got a helluva' lot less exciting for me.
