So, I didn't win the $366 million Powerball but it's fun to think if I did. So, I pose this question to you... If I won and called you to manage my new 3 person SX/MX team that I wanted to debut at this years outdoor series what 3 riders and bike brand would you choose? The stipulation is you must run at least 1 rider in the "lites" class and 1 rider must ride a 2 stroke. Now, this would be a full on effort with JGR/ProCircuit level support, shop, etc. So... who would you pick, what bike brand, and who would ride what?

First you would have to buy me a diesel pusher home away from home so I could feel good about managing such a high profile team...lol.

But seriously I would want Barcia and Eli on the 450 and 250 foopers and then I would coerce RC to come out of retirement to ride the 250 2 smoke or maybe buy out Bubbas contract for a ridiculous sum and put him on a 125 again! Bike choice would be the toughest part for sure but the young guys would have to stay on Honda and James would definitely have to be on his Kawi.

Try again... you have to pick rides who you could get for this season outdoors. Those guys already have rides they wouldn't leave.

I was thinking guys like J-Law? Think he could be ready for an outdoor season? What about Damon Bradshaw? He would draw in the fans for sure... Cody Mackie might be a good fit. What riders would you want that could be competitive right away and/or would bring the most recognition. I think RC would be a really good choice if you could get hi now that the Monster NASCAR thing is done... Maybe Mike Brown?

Remember the 6 million dollar man Steve Austin? I would have to go in for some body modification and I would go out and Win both classes every night.

Ah man, who knows.

If I could have anyone to ride a 250 2 stroke for me, it'd have to be either bubba or reed, K-dub could do well, but he's a little past his prime.

It'd be a toss up between the KTM 250sx, or getting Service Honda to provide an ultra trick CR250R. I'd hire Eric Gorr as my motor man, and Jeremy Wilkey as the suspension/chassis guy on the KTM.

I'd hire 500guy to be my media guy for sure...

And my Lites rider would be..hmm, I'd go with Barcia, him on that 125 was sick to watch.

I'd go with KTM since you said you have to run a two stroke. Out of available riders? (I think all of these are avaiable for the Nationals). Gannon Audette on a 250f. In the 450 class, I'd take Tommy Hahn and Les Smith. Not sure which one would wind up on the 2t.

They would all be on Kawasakis.

Ken Roczen would be riding in the lites class.
Ryan Villopoto would be riding the 450 in the premier class.
Justin Barcia would be riding the 250 two stroke in the premier class.

Edit:
All would be riding Kawasakis
Cole Seely for the lites
Malcolm Stewart on the 250 two stroke
Ben Townley on the 450

If it weren't for the production rule I'd run TMs, but since there is one I'd say Hondas because they seem willing to supply factory parts to big budget privateer teams.
450f-Regal
250-Albertson-I think he'd take the job and I think buying out his contract would be worth it to get such a cool and nice guy
250f-Laninovich-good to have a vet like him, and I'd try to get Osborne for 2013 after his Euro contract was up

I would never agree to force anyone to ride a two-stroke. LOL

If I won that coin, a team would be cool, but I'd also like to dream about getting the land and building the ulitmate outdoor natural track in a beautiful area with state of the art infrastructure. Sort of like Castillo on steroids. And then, among other races of whatever top series, run a once a year race with a start money and a high enough purse to attract the best riders regardless of what series they run.

Now see? here is a guy that's knows how to make money with money. I realize the hypothetical question in regard but building a facility that would be there for the long haul and bring in funds to help shore up a reasonable pro effort would be great.
