Looks to be if indeed it does run and doesn't shift on its own...
$400 seems like the seller wants to sell it real quick like for a running bike.
Good luck FTE.

5 speed with that seat and the number plate style, looks like it's a 83! even better!

HAhA!!Laughing I'm looking for the exact same thing and was about to post a fourm asking for one but I only know of 1 person here who owns a 150r not an expert though. Im gonna check my dealers this saturday though, I gave em a ring today and said theyll hook me up for one of their demo bikes for $3000 OTD.

Looks like an '83 to me also; thought '82 had the 4 speed.

Hopefully he didn't move to California.

Is he still around causing trouble?

I can get new ones for good deal...I wanted slightly used. I am going to rip them apart, and start all over anyway.

They're for a 24 Hour GP team.

Gotta' have the expert model, and want used.

I need to replace the top end with a bigger bore, SS valves, then heavy suspension springs, IMS dry break gas tanks, IMS pegs, alloy bars, PC exhaust, Maxxis tires, No toil filters, and wire for lights...etc. So that is why I am looking for slightly used.

Nice!!! I'm doin sumthin similar too. The bike that im gettin is is from the dealer but was used as a demo bike for tests and stuff so I'm expecting it to be a little beat up but nuthin major though.

Yep, it looks like a 1983. I would buy it in a heart beat even if it was a non-runnin bike. I race a 1982 and have been told that the 83 was even better.

Yes he is still causing trouble

I talk to people all the time that have run in's with him.

The mid 40's living with parents rumors are true.
I had a customer actually drive to his parents house to get his $$ back.

I wish I had a shop or more room, and that my existing project is done. Craigslist is a dangerous place, especially in our area. There's an incredibly clean CZ that I've always wanted on there now as well. Well, we'll see.

I'm out of room myself, so I have been holding back a bit until I get a bigger shop.
Then fill it up with more junk.

The winner is who gets the toys when you die.

Just goes to show you there's more than one way to spell clusterphuck. You should see the upstairsSad I finally started getting some insulation and sheetrock going up. Also got the A/C going! But then the $550.00 electric bill showed up and the a/c got turned off. A lot of other things got unplugged as well. There isn't enough time to do hardly anything anymore. I even sent a few stagnant projects off for someone else to finish for me. One day though, one day.......
