I actually hope this is some kind of joke or the race does not happen, because the shit talking is too funny. If they raced one rider would beat the shit out of the other one and then the banter would be over. But with that said I will be tuning in on the thirtieth to see what happens. Or I hope they do it on pitbikes.

Diff era, RC raced professionally just 4 years ago, and he's 10 years younger (?). Doesn't matter if it's a 40 min moto, or just three lap. RC is to close to where he was and he was superiour to anything, compared to Emig who didn't dominate, and even further back in history.Blink

I remember not too long ago Dungey and Carmichael went at it at the Suzuki practice track.RC let Dungey go first and ran him down and passed him...
it kinda got to Dungey cause he was racing for a championship at that time and RC was retired.NEVER bet against the G.O.A.T.

If there was such a race which I doubt there was, I mean a real race, not two guys on twitter talking shit and then going out and doing a riding demo. This was a Fox event, RC is still important to the image of Fox, Emig not as much with Shift. Do the math.

But just to answer the question, watch the video. Look at Emig coming through the corner then watch RC, not even close. Emig is probably one of the fastest 40(or close) year olds out there but he's no RC, tubby or not.

Of course this trash talk is tongue in cheek and everyone knows RC is faster...(including Emig). But it's too bad Emig got hurt training for the 2000 season and ended up retiring. Sure RC would have most likely still won that title but at that time Fro might have had a little bit for him. Emig was blazing fast outdoors in his prime. I wish we would have got to see that match up.
