Good move by Stewie. Weimer's crash only illustrates he needs more experience in the "big boy" class. Neither rider should have anything to be ashamed of or upset about.

The only lame drama of this move is from what some are writing on these boards, but that's gotta be expected from a bunch of unexperienced keyboard jockies.

I think James took him out due to his frustration. James did not need to take him out in order to pass him.

James is struggling and SHOULD have passed Weimer in one or two corners but his bike turns on dirt about as well as a JGR Sprint Cup Toyota Camry.

Weimer needs to find just a little more speed and he will be even more of a threat to the 2012 title.

It helps to read and comprehend the entire post. Not just the parts you want.

Well, I don't think it was that dirty of a move, but he didn't have to do it.. You can see the racing line in the pics that Bubbles is going for, but I completely agree with your comment, dirty or not if Weimer has the opportunity to either take him out or not well he'll probably elect for dishing out what was given to him no doubt.. Like I said before, I was more looking at Dungey in the pics, pretty awesome sequence of him, but why couldn't Bubbles do the same and take the inside line if he was that far behind Weimer

Looks like Wiemer would have been better off taking the like Dungey did. I don't see it as anything other than a standard block pass that...

Yup. Also looks like James is in the racing line.

Block pass and Jake hit the tough blocks and wet down. Part of Racing. IMO

I dont think people remember how much the block pass was used ten years ago.

Had it been James that got pushed out and went down people would have said "he should have looked over an breaked." Just saying.

Personally, I just think that he didn't want to let Chad get away and wanted to get by JW as soon as possible and saw an opening. Was the the cleanest pass ever, no, but it's big time Pro racing. Guys should be looking to make agressive moves. Not the first time that it has happened and not the last either.

Well he should have took the middle groove that Chad took instead of pushing Jake into the blocks. Probably lost time with that pass.

He and Chad were in different positions.

The term "situational awareness" comes to mind on this one. Jake is in the big-boy class now. To leave the door open to a predator like James...don't be surprised when you get eaten alive.

Having said that...James could have given Jake the 6" he needed to stay up, but he didn't for whatever reason.

I'm so glad that James is racing, what an exciting guy to watch ride. You never know what's gonna happen next!

if you are faster then pass like you are! i see that some of you here are the ones that drag race the person that caught up to you to the next turn and go for the take out move and say that you beat them after they fall.

Jake's got plenty of speed, I'm sure he'll return the favor sometime this season.

How is he suppose to "square off" from the inside of a corner like that and expect to make the pass???

Weimer is probably pissed that he was not decisive in that situation, checkup and cut inside or checkup and hold your line. He will learn from this. Pissed at JS, what good is that, learn from the situation if you plan to compete with the big boys. He will be a top contender in the future IMO. The only way to be the best is to race with the best.

his line didn't look much different to dungeys.....he had other options but chose to rub...didn;t have to take weimer so high to make the pass .....could of took a digger himself getting tangled up.....wasn't as if weimer was jacking with him.

imho

So what you cant bump or block pass now?

Let me quess you want this to be like the NFL rules for Quaterbacks???

Dont even look at the boots of another rider or its "too close" and there was another way around.

Its racing. Rubbing is racing. James didnt clean him out.

Block pass, that was a solid block pass.
