Stewart down in whoops after setting fastest lap thus far

I don't have anything against him personally he has been one of the most talented riders ever, and I like watching him ride, but I think his decisions off the track, like not racing real motocross, are affecting his performances on race day. It looks like his focus seems to be come and go with increasing frequency which results in crashing a lot. When was the last race where he actually made through practice, heats, and the main without a gnarly crash and how many more crashes is he going to be able to walk away from?

what the hell!!! stewie just cant stay off the ground. Im starting to believe not doing nationals is affecting his overall racing. I know its only third race but if JGR doesnt see a podium tonite things will get a bit uneasy over there.
he is getting them more coverage than every even without placing top 3. things will be ok.

I don't know how the poor guy can keep his head in the game with all the problems he's had so far this year. It's like he's super self-conscious of everybody watching him and expecting the worst, instead of the best like it was in the past.

Did the tuff blocks have Pirelli or Dunlop covers on them in that section?

Last year Stewart lands on a guy who misses a triple, and there are 45,687 threads baggin on the guy, but when Albertson lands on Nick Wey last week in Phoenix, not one person callin him out.
Albertson's was an accident, but so was Stewarts, but we all see the difference.........
Consider the two scenarios you mentioned. One involves the highest profile rider in the sport who has a bit of a history of that sort of thing (JT$, Tedesco, Preston, Partidge...) and it is usually caught on film to watch over and over. The other involves two fan favorite privateers and no one really saw what happened, especially the TV crew.

Which one do you think will cause more of a stir?

Interesting

Chad has said that in the past about him

Another thing is (and this isn't pointed toward you UAW) people seem to revel in the fact he is failing. Not too many here are wishing the best for the guy.

Quite, and I'm pretty sure I'm thinking what you're thinking.
I agree. Not riding the Nationals really pissed a lot of people off.

I hope JS is fine. Didn't look to bad, but I'm sitting in a chair not swapping ends on the whoops. While I don't wish him bad luck, I think he's not being realistic suggesting he's going to break records, win races, etc, after taking off so much time while some young and upcoming riders like RV and RD have been racing a lot and continuing to get better. Now he's really having to push to keep up, and he'll make mistakes. He can go as fast as anyone no doubt. But I don't see him regularly doing it for 20 laps.

Oh please...

James, and/or his, fans, team manager, or whoever, continually make promises they don't keep, and let their mouths cash checks that James' results can't keep, and it becomes a real hard thing to be a supporter, "imo".

At this point, watching the dude flounder is just sorta sad, and I'm sure most people, myself included, would like to see him racing up front.

Outsider and Pilot make good points, but you can't deny he gets more shit than he deserves.

I'm with ya regarding the floundering being kind of sad. Watching a guy who's always been so good fall apart isn't easy.

I wish the best for all of them.

I've never been one to play favorites.

I enjoy seeing good racing no matter who ends up on top of the box.

Everyone in the field deserves respect just for working hard enough to make it to the top level of our sport.
What the hell is wrong with you? This is supposed to be an argument. Geez..............

Yea idk about the dirt...looks like somebody went and got dirt from old lake elsinore and mixed it with some shit from el mirage...they shouldnt have covered the track in my opinion...shit needs as much water as possible.
