i say you ask for some vital mx body guards at each event that can be a buffer around you at the event....on second thought, bad idea as you would probably end up with db's around you...

While I don't sit in those seats, reminds me of a funny story.
Was at SX years ago with my wife. She has o clue about the races and just went for a good time and to try and see why I love the sport so much.
She had a full cup of beer and RC just made pass for the lead so she jumped up, hooted loud, threw her arms in the air and her entire beer went all over some dude in front of us.
I bout crapped. Thought that dude was going to kill somebody until he realized it was a girl that did it.
People on both sides of us laughed their asses off. One actually bought her a fresh beer.
Ugggg, I felt bad for my wife, she was embarrassed big time.
We laugh about it now.
Pretty sure we aren't DB's. Har...

Oh I had an awesome night. It was so great to be back. My post was (sort of) tongue in cheek. I really would hate to complain about anything because it's no fun being stuck at home, either. I do wish that industry seating was limited to credentials, because your credential is linked to a rider and people would probably behave differently. Also, I have seen many many times that riders come up in to the stands to sit and watch and there's nowhere to sit.

I have watched from a box, but it just seems no fun. I like the noise of the fireworks, and the bikes. Just hate drunks is all.

GuyB, thanks for the shots. Good to see you again this weekend. Thanks for not posting the picture you took of me!
Mom... You would have to be proud of that boy......I know that I am!!

I tried to ask nicely first. But after that, like my kids, that's all the nice you get.

Sorry mom.......this sport is filled with those kind of people. I would think 90% of them get attracted to go there because they think of it as just a social event....and not a race. Most don't know who the riders are and bring crap up that makes no sense. Sorry you had a bad night......but still....it was great seeing Trey out there riding again.

Kari, you will absolutely be my guest in our boxes at Phx next year. These boxes are completely out in the open and you can see/hear all the action.

I figure it's the least I can do for a fellow Okie....... ;-)
