Thought i would share this with you guys. Daniel over at Interlaced Films shot this footage last weekend. Pretty cool interview with Jonathan Beasley and Darius.
Check out the digger he took at around the 4 minute mark. WOW!!

FWIW Saturday night I almost didnt finish my moto because my arms were pumped and my hands were killing me. Now after watching Darius I feel like a pussy.Blush

I can tell you one thing....Darius is definitely one of my hero's in MX! Seriously , that kid is more "Core MX" than 99.9% of the people who ride or race!

AND.....after he took that big swapped out digger.....did you see his face in the medic cart??.....ALL SMILES!!

That is friggin' awesome! Love to meet that kid one day!

Glover is a stud, i ve seen him ride at some private tracks in md, hardcore for sure, he has more desire and heart you can imagine! Its hard to feel bad for our selves when you see the dude ride!

He was at Elizabeth City, NC last weekend. I didnt make it, but he hung out with a few friends of mine. From what they were saying, he sounds like a really cool guy to be around. Inspiring as well.

He was heart-broken/pissed that he didn't get to race the X-Games (He was there as an alternate). Had to get the kid to realize that he's young and he's gonna have plenty of chances to get a medal.

This youngman is as Competitive as it gets.

Inspirational video of Darius out there racing motocross after paralysis.

The producers of "Bubba's World" need to get Darius onto the show. What a great episode it would make having him and Bubba hanging out and riding together, a far more interesting storyline than Potter and Sorby messing up week in week out!
Kid looks like he has a fun character that would come across and hopefully inspire more paraplegics to get out there and enjoy themselves.

You can tell he's a good rider. That being said, with his injury, I'm not convinced he should be out there riding, especially with other people on the track.

Me and Darius traded some plastic and block passes when we raced C class and B class before he got hurt. He has definitely got some heart and I look up to him (even tho we are almost the same age lol) for being able to push and ride despite his injury. Definitely an inspiring person.....

i had the pleasure of shooting pics of darius last year at the adaptive games (baja acres). great kid, lots of heart. he tipped over in a berm in front of me and i had a heck of time getting him upright...finally got some help and we got him up...and he was gone. lol. great vid, thanks for posting.

I got beat by a dude that was paralyzed at a race at the Oatfield last year. Craziest thing I've ever seen. Here I am thinking I go pretty good and that guy would just fly by me. Humbling and inspirational.

That was probably Nick Papas, he's a paraplegic from the bay area...great rider and a great guy.

That was him! AWESOME rider. I mean, I'm not trying to brag, but I'm a pretty big deal over in the OTHG and have been known to eat faster than ANYONE....oh wait, we're talking about riding? hahaha.

No, seriously, I go "okay" on a bike and that dude beats me pretty easily. Unreal. I sure hope they develop a cure for SCI in the very near future for heros like Papas, Henry, Glover, and your son.

Nice video of Darius...
Now without use of his legs, a whole lot of core and upper extremity to ride...
We have a kid at our clinic that is a T-12 complete and has his YZ125 set up to ride now 5 years post injury...cool to see the desire to be bike on a bike...
