I've been thinking about getting the FMF RTC Factory 4.1 but if you have any suggestions for me that would be great. Thanks!

I would save your money, unless you are a really fast rider that can reap the benefits of an aftermarket system. The only thing that can make the bike go faster around the track is you. In most cases,it's a waste of money, unless you crash and kill the original stuff. It does look nice, but doesn't help much.

I like Yosh..high quailty...I had an FMF 4.1, I wasn't impressed by the quality. IMO. I usually run slip-on's because I don't really feel the benefits of an aftermarket header.

Stock. Spend the money on track time, private lessons, tires, fuel, etc.

I agree. That pipe isn't making you go faster. But everyone has to have them. Tune the bike properly, and go ride it. You will be much happier, and have some bucks to ride.

Buy some exhoust wrap tape and it will give hotter exhoust that makes a better flow and cooler around the shock canister

if you ride a European crf450r 2011or 12 you would not ride the stocker. Feels like you ride a crf250x..... the euro crf got 7-8 cm longer muffler with smaller opening Dizzy i got the fmf rct slipon on my 250f. I like it a lot and it is cheap.

The FMF is the best bang for the buck IMO, unless you have an all out race build and need that little but more. In that case I'd get the Pro Circuit. For all those saying "stock", run a mile tomorrow and then run a mile with 10lbs strapped on your back. Come back to this thread and change your "opinion" once you've completed your home work haha. It's a common thing, you're only focusing on 1 of the benefits (power) but if you add that to the weight savings it will help any rider who's actually twisting the throttle!

run the stocker unless its an X model honda then run an R model silencer. Like everyone else was saying when you can ride fast enough that you need more outta the bike, leave it stock and use that money on gas so you can ride more and get faster. when you need more then buy the pipe or upgrade bikes!
