I always measure both the piston and the cylinder before I trust the piston maker or myself! It is the way to rebuild an engine properly. A proper piston to cylinder clearance will ensure longer engine life and if you have to circlips installed properly there is no reason for them to come out. The first engine I ever rebuilt...

oh I wasnt saying dont charge for dyno runs im just saying that if you have ten guys with the same bikes and you have one that is working great there is no reason to run the next guys bike that wants what he has just load the map from his tune in their bike and sell em a new...
they are unneeded do you see pro racers or their mechanics crying about why there are no spirallocks anymore? Or wait do you see them using them? Yes they are unneeded it is unfortunate when a person that doesnt know how to put a circlip into a piston rebuilds an engine, then have it burn down and try to blame...

no no it does not matter what kind of valves you have ti or stainless its not the valves that wear out it is the fact that the valves wear themselves into the head, that is why you adjust valves on all manufacturers machines, including street bikes atvs everything that doesnt have hydralic valve lash adjusters. after some time you...

run the stocker unless its an X model honda then run an R model silencer. Like everyone else was saying when you can ride fast enough that you need more outta the bike, leave it stock and use that money on gas so you can ride more and get faster. when you need more then buy the pipe or upgrade...

Do you have a dyno to tune with? CNORRIS? If so then you guys should keep those numbers for the the different models and brands. Its crazy how fast customers will come back if you help with something little like that. I you already know what their bike needs why charge them a dyno run? Yeah I know every bike...
