I thought there were some issues with '09s and one gear going bad?
Whats the lifespan on a head? I did new intake valves last winter at 60 hours for piece of mind and the fact I got a great deal on them. How long should I expect valve guides to last?
Bike has had eddies tune, full yosh ti and je 13.5:1 since day one. Never any issues, but would like to make sure I don't run into any, plus its cold out and its something to do!
Am I right that the seats can't be lapped?
I take it your refering to the cam chain, right? That will be replaced and I've heard of issues with the tensioner. I had a tokyo mods one but never installed it and ended up selling it.
The stock clutch finally went. Even with hinson springs and magura hydro it destroyed the baskey, inner hub and pressure plate. was looking at hinson 6 spring or doing the 6 spring setup on ebay and hinson basket.
The stock one was destroyed and I'm not a clutch abuser. After 110 hours the plates all still measure in spec, but basket and hub are Groved worse then I've ever seen and pressure plate was ground way down. I thought Hinson stuff lasts a lot better?
any complaints with service honda? they look like they have the best prices
