Ok i was waiting for this post, but as no one started, let's do some bench racing...

How you guys think about it?

Both guys have a strong attitude and big desire of the win...

I will go with Roczen... He should do one round with the 350 to break the ice and then go full power for the east...

I think the title chase will be between Barcia and Wilson with Roczen taking a win or two. If I were Wilson, I'd want to ride the West coast (closer to home and no Barcia or Roczen... plus more time to prepare for outdoors where Roczen will be a bigger threat).

I'd say give Roczen a full season before he's a true threat. He'll win a couple, but I dont think he'll pull it all together until near the end of the season.

he is going to make 2012 a living hell for Pro Circuit. I think you will see pro circuit using team tactics against him just like the Matt Walker & Eric Sorby VS Travis Preston days.

it would not be the first time payton literally employed one rider for the sole purpose of ensuring another rider wins the title. i dont blame him either, i'd do the same damned thing. the guy is the lombardi of sx.

i think the deciding factor is going to be the mental anguish that ddavis caused dean wilson in the off-season. i dont know if he will bounce back from that.

That's funny, Barcia's cloth must not be that different than Deano's then, because they had the same number of wins last year in SX. Barcia's cloth seems to go bad once the 250's go outside too. Dean and Roczen get better in such conditions.

Roczen will definitely be starting a bit behind because of his injury, it depends on how long it will take him to reach race pace as to whether he can challenge for the title. Honestly I can see Roczen having a similar season to Wilson in last years SX, win a few and make small mistakes and little tip overs in the others. Wilson however, I believe will be a great threat for both titles in 2012, he's got the experience of going for a title and being in contention, and there's no reason why he can't pull it off this year.

Hopefully Roczen can just get through this SX season unhurt. What I really want to see is him outdoors and healthy.

But if I was a betting man, I would have to bet on Wilson again this year.
