I want to say 2 things...

1) I went to your site after your last few posts on here and I see that you have some decent stuff...with that being said the last two t-shirt designs you had on here were not good, especially the previous one. This one is...ahh not my cup of tea.

2) Quit posting your t-shirt designs on VItal...this goes for Nate Page as well...oh and Nate, same goes for you graphics you are designing.

Thank you and have a very Merry Christmas!

Not a fan of the skulls personally but I can see the market.
Much better than the other one you posted w/ the guns and such though.

Just curious do you have any product that has been produced and worn/washed?
I'd be interested to see how the designs hold up on the shirt along with the graphic mock ups.

I dont really think you can tell them to quit posting something on the forum. Its a forum its for posting even if its things that you dont like. Just because you dont want to see his shirt designs or the graphics doesnt mean they cant post it. Maybe you should just not look at it. That might work for you as well.

No shit...real classy, "quit posting..blah blah" how about you sinmply quit reading his posts? no one put a gun to your head to click on his threads.

Although the designs are not my cup of tea, good on ya to keep at it, and dont ever let anyone tell you you cant do something.

btw: was it you quite awhile back that was looking for the bulldog that was on RJ's helmet back in the day? IIRC i found that image for ya and cleaned it up a bit. Cool

All I would say is that you don't seem to have a consistent brand/style. Everything seems to be a bit erratic - you have quite a simple, bold logo with clean lines which you used on the first batch of tshirts you posted, but now you've gone all West Coast Choppers with the skulls and grunge styling (which I don't think particularly suits Motocross personally).

My guess is that there are two or more people designing these tshirts, each with a different approach/taste, and its confusing your identity.

I suggest you write some kind of company ethos, pin it up on the wall infront of you and try to stick to it, at least while you're still trying to get off the ground. You can start messing around with different ranges/styles once you've established yourselves.

I think ur pro blem is bulldogs have nothing to do with motocross.. So nobody can relate no matter what you do to ur designs.. I think until ur name and logo is changed to something that mx can relate with.. you wont sell anything except to people you know or kids that own a bulldog and a mx bike.

scottie and yamaha the reason I made such a remark is because they are endorsing their own "product" or work...

Correct me if Im wrong, but Im in the MOTO section not Non Moto..there are other sections where these posts might be more appropriate, correct? Even if the shirt designs or graphics are for moto people they are non moto related...Im sure we could have plenty of others come on here and say check out my newest ___________ ... oh ya Im a moto fan so ITS MOTO RELATED! come on seriously. When I said Vital in my first post I meant MOTO section.

At least you finally have something to do with MX on a shirt. Other than that I would rather go naked in the Gobi than wear that.

Clearly the guy races bulldogs.

Keep the name dude moto sucks anyway. Bulldog racing is sweet. Sweet like skullz, and bandanas, and gunz, and gangster skullz with bandanas shooting gunz. The fastest bulldog wins. Bamfers.

In all honesty..The skulls are played out. WAY played out. Also, like stated above it seems like your brand has no direction. I understand you want to be motocross related but on your website there is no Mission statement or real branding. People won't care one bit about a company if they can't relate to it.

They place you really need to be is t-shirtforums.com. This will be an awesome place to get feedback from people who have had success in the t-shirt business. Take a look at dribble.com as well. Dribble is a grate site for design inspiration.

Last but not least - Get creative! If I had a buck for every time I saw a skull wearing a helmet I would have a dump truck full of money. I think you need to stop looking at what everyone else did in the 90s and bring something new to the table. Or leave behind the motocross market and hit mud racing with those designs.

Not trying to be rude just honest and helpful.

I'd lose the skulls as well but think this is better than the last design. I'd try designing a bulldog that looks cool wearing a helmet.

Hey, Bulldog...uh...

Remember in your last thread when I asked you if your bulldog image was clip art and you said no and that you'd put "serious design hours" into its creation? Well, um, I was just messin' with you---but then on a whim I typed 'bulldog clipart' into google and stumbled onto this after about 25 seconds:

Awkward.

Not the same, but pretty close. Modified clip art? Looks clip art inspired at the least.

Thanks, our first shirts were similar to all the shirts out there, 6 oz 100% cotton, we wore them all summer long at the tracks and the held up well and all the screen printing looks like new. They are a little warm for the middle of the summer. Our new premium shirts are 4 oz and super soft and do not lose there shape at all. Very high quality, I own every fox shirt they make and our premium shirt is much better quality, but of course they are the kings so they can get away with a cheaper shirt at a higher price.

Cool, thanks for the feedback! The last two designs are from different designers that wanted a chance to work with us and with some adjustments I'm sure we can get them closer to what we are looking for.

The problem is most motocross designs are very boring, and I wanted them to push the edge a little. Trying to create something different that still appeals is certainly the challenge and we will keep getting it dialed in.

Thanks again for the advice!
