Would be great to see Mike catch some of the magic he had on the RMZ outdoors. Even indoors he had a podium and holeshot just about EVERY race. Would add one more fast guy to an already stacked premier class for the nationals. As far as sx, just no injuries please Mike!

Gross.

Can someone please explain to me why there's this great allure of JT coming back out? I half assed followed moto as a kid and didn't really start riding until '05 when I was 23 years old, but I'm going to be 30 this summer (so I'm more or less "Vet old guy") and I don't get it. The shit looks like it's from the 80's. If you want that, just go on ebay and get it for $10 (with shipping!) a set. That would be true vintage. If I don't like it, the kids DEFINITELY won't like it. Who is their target customer?

By the looks of the moto optics on the side of the helmet looks like Mikey had to ditch the EKS Brand goggles!

I was gonna say, when I first saw that pic, that there wasn't a whole lot of yellow on that bike...

What's everyone's fascination with 30 year old gear? It's 2011, let it go.

Not sure. They're not trying to be militant about it (stripping all brand ID off the bike), but if they were given the chance, having MCR rather than the usual brand designation is how they'd like to fill in their entry forms, and want the results to reflect.

To me, running multiple brands under one tent seems like a lot more work- you can't stock common parts for all your bikes. To have spares for everything takes more time, money and space.

As far as contingency, read the fine print from the OEM. But I think you can change the color and remove logos and still collect contingency money.
Mike has plenty of both. They have this thing called FED EX...overnite from anywhere in the world.

The helmet isn't awful, but something about it just doesn't look very solid to me.. maybe because of the appearance of being old technology... With the kind of diggers MA has had in the past, I would hope whatever helmet he choses to wear is high quality protection.

I like the color scheme not so much the shape either. Couldn't exactly explain why, buy just know what I don't like or do like when I see it. Favorite bike so far is still CR22s last Vegas ride.

40+ riders?

I don't mind the gear, but I'm not a fan of the helmet shape as others have said.

I'm turning 30 next year too, didn't you know, 30 is the new 20 Wink

Looks just like any other JT helmet I have ever seen. I like it I used to wear them back in the day and they were comfortable.

I love the combo of the gear and helmet. Then again I am of the new generation ( 18 yrs old ) maybe the bro and skulls generation ( currently 30-35 ) might not.

I like the look of the helmet but Black is stupid for the color of the helmet. I guess they just want their heads to be hotter than everyone else.

I liked the JT helmet Bayle wore. The visor on this one looks a little too curved. Helmet looks fatter. At least it's not the same-ol-Shoei copy, like everyone elses
