trey canard injured?

That sucks!! Kind of reminding me a little of Broc Hepler, Grant Langston or the Alessi brothers in the sense that they just can't seem to catch a break (sorry no pun intended Sick ) and bad luck just follows them around. Hopefully he'll have a full recovery and be ready for A1.

Well mother has had to have seen the thread... I would think, maybe not though. But I guess we shouldnt be surprised if this stays classified.

Wow that sucks! Although we all know the odds of the top guys lining up at A1 healthy every year is pretty slim. At least it's not his femur again... Hoping for a recovery equal to how fast Trey is!

If it was a clean break, I think a couple screws and a plate could get him to A1. A collar bone is one I haven't had plated but some one here should know from experience.
Trey just can't catch a break!
If it's fractured, he'll be good to go in 2-3 weeks. If it's a clean break then he will definitely have it plated, and if he really needed to, he could ride within 2 weeks.
That's my past experience anyway.

Poor bastard can't stop catching breaks. Seems that he sure doesn't bounce very well. Personally, I hope his luck improves significantly before too long - there's only so much of this crap he can take, before it starts to eat away at his motivation and confidence.

Too true mate. Trey just rides so hard...the penalties are hard as well.

If I was in his shoes, I would of called it quits after the 2nd femur break. All of his injuries would be way too much to take. Its awesome he keeps his spirit up through all the injuries though.

i dont think i can remember anyone as unlucky as hepler! had the talent to win against anyone but suffered too many concussions in a short space of time and decided to go to college, and have a 'normal' career- i beleive he still rides dirtbikes for fun too?
As far as langston goes- grant was very unlucky with the situation with his sight, but he did have a pretty long and successful career (125 world motocross champion, 125 ama motocross champion, 125 east and west coast ama supercross champion, 450 ama motocross champion)- not many other riders have acheived that much in the sport!!!

Ben Townley is one of the extremely unlucky ones too- unfortunately its the nature of the sport, but some riders seem to get the sh*tty end of the stick more than others thats for sure!

Hope trey can make a full recovery and be back at the front- he's one of only a handful of riders capable of running the pace of the front guys. Always been a fan since his epic battle for the outdoor title with pourcel (which neither of them deserved to lose in my opinion) - he has a cool, unique riding style- kind of a mix between old school elbows up, and new school (scrubbing etc) - awesome to watch!

thats why he's a previous champion/ contender when fit - look at townley, the amount of injuries that guys had most people would have called it quits a long time ago, but he's a champion so he gets back up- gets fit and is back at the front again!

If it is true, then at least its only a collarbone- and nothing more serious! (collarbone breaks are very painful but normally heal fast!)

Is this cuz he's a ginger and therefore avoids the sun and as such get less vitamin D which makes his bones weak?

I kid I kid, hope he heals fast.

Brutal if true. Hard to fathom going through so many harsh injuries in such a tight time span.
