I just ordered a leatt, and I was wondering what is the best chest protector that fits with the leatt. I'm looking for a traditional over the jersey plastic chest protector that will fit comfortably with the leatt with little modifications, thanks for the help

Ya those are really cool, I love how light they are, but the one time I rode with one it drove me mad because it kept getting stuck in the back of my kidney belt. Maybe it was not sized right, but it drove me insane. Do you have this problem?

I don't wear a kidney belt, so I'm not really sure how that would work. I just wear it with the back strap that it comes with instead of the back plate. I put the chest protector on first then its very easy to get the leatt into it. And like you said, its extremely light!

Has anyone tried the HRP chest protector that is made to fit with the leatt? I'm looking into it, but it looks kind of goofy to be truthful

My son uses the HRP protector designed to go with the Leatt. It works really well. We'll be at Winchester SpeedPark this Sunday if you want to check it out. YZ125 #106.

I use HRP so does my kid, the ones for kids are hard to come by though. I had my kids on order with HRP for 3 months and never got it. Finally there was a guy at glen helen selling em so I bought one from him and cancelled the order with HRP. Even the guy I bought from said he had a really hard time getting the kids sizes from them, usually a 6 week wait.

ya dude same here. jus take off that back plate and put the clear strap. works sooo good haha. i have 2 friends rockin the same thing. No Fear Stratos was kinda uncomfortable in my opinion. A little trimming and it would be sick but jus seemed a little tight.

I use a TLD and remove the shoulder cups. You don't have to do that though, I just think they are useless for the most part. I feel they do give some roost protection though.

The FOX works perfectly....it even fits in the slots on the LEATT. It kinda integrates the two into one unit.

I can't make mine fit with this armour. I havent tried taking the shoulder cups off but i still dont think it will go with it.
The problem seems to be the distance from front to back, not between the shoulders.
