Some say they are the best 125 Honda made. Six speed, bullet proof engine. Great balance of suspension. Strong motor.

I would agree with them. Last of the good ones. I had heard about people putting 97 motors in 02 frames. The best handling frame with the best motor.

Pretty good bike, but the 93'-95' motor was faster on top end.
Find a 93-95 cylinder and bolt it on if you want one of the best 125 motors ever made.

I heard there was a trick to put a KX pipe on the bike and it opened up a whole new powerband.

Good bike, you'll enjoy it. Throw it in a newer frame if your able to and you'll love it.

The 96 Engine was the best, as they changed the Motor on the 97 and did it no justice, but the 97 has a lot of potential... MXA said put a FMF Fatty on and a Shorty with a good Reed Cage and it will come to life.

It was probable the last good CR125, all the ones after were incredible pieces of shit!

They went from fastest to slowest in a single year and never recovered.
