I hung with Pastrana at his house and played fooseball with him and his cousin. Hung out with the entire nitro circus crew plus half of the FMX community. Deegan was there all fired up. Ryan Sheckler choked out Macolm McCasey. In Cleaveland Dew Tour same year got to hang out with Potter, Taka and talked Dirt with Nate Adams.

When I was little I would hang out at Fros box van and clean his helmet a couple times. Years later he remembered me and broughtt me onto FOX radio at Loretta Lynns.

This past year in Vegas my gf and I got Kenny Roczen into a club in Vegas at the shoot out. Pretty much hung with him, his dad and a couple friends for a couple hours.

Those are just a few.

The past two years I got to rub shoulders with a whole bunch of celebrities and athletes for my work. Some of them can be very nice (Vinny Testaverde was super nice, met and chatted with Aaron Rodgers right before he won the Superbowl that year, Stone Phillips was very nice, and a whole lot more) and others be straight douchebags to everyone (MJ).

Not going to drop names because it is against the code, but for the last 6 years that I have been to Loretta's there has always been at least one and up to several high profile pro's or ex pros in the beer tent. They have all been very gracious and hung out with us normals downing some drinks and shooting the shit.
reminds me of the day I was on a gambling boat off the coast of Florida drinking adult beverages and losing money with a few guys who have some pretty famous initials......I bet it was some of the same guys... I also had the honor of getting to hang out and ski with the Mahre brothers and the late great Shane McConkey.

I see The Rock at my gym a lot, seems like a cool guy. Talked to Robin Williams about street bikes for about 10 minutes on South Beach. Met Gina Carano, she is smokin hot in person.

I was in a movie with Phillip Michael Thomas (Miami Vice partner of Don Johnson) back in the early 90's.

I hung out on the set of several Miami Vice episodes with Philip M Thomas and Don Johnson in the late 80's.

I spent the day with Roger DeCoster at American Honda.

I had dinner with Freddie Spencer in Suzuka, Japan.

I've met Santa Clause on numerous occasions as well !!!!

I led Jeff Matiasevich at De Anza for 14 laps in the pro class....I was on a 250 and he was on a 125. Only problem was the race was 15 laps and I washed out the front end on the last lap.

Went to the '88 Denver Ultracross race (those Mickey Thompson deals back in the late 80's). The guy I went with knew Denny Stephenson and Jeff Emig, so we pretty much hung with them all day.
Funny part compared to "today's riders" is that we walked across from the stadium to Burger King for lunch just before practice, and then had Pizza Hut delivered to Denny's hotel room for dinner just before the main event. Aldon Baker would have shit bricks.

In late '87, I raced a regional event at Blythe Raceway. Broc Glover and Doug Dubach both entered the 250 pro class, which I had just moved into earlier that year.
This was my first "big" pro race, and even though I knew I would get smoked I still wanted a good gate pick so I went to the line really early. I was the first person at the gate for that class, and of course about 5 minutes later 2 mechanics come pushing 2 YZ250's up to the gate and pick the spots on both sides of me. I wish I would have at least had a picture of me starting between Glover and Dubach, because that was the last time I saw them.

A strange brush with a celebrity was about 7-8 years ago. My brother-in-law owns an antique car business, and he is driving through Scottsdale with some of his friends on a Friday night coming home from some bars.
A really nice classic car pulls up next to them at a stop light, and he starts checking out the car. The driver rolls down his window and they start talking cars at the light.
The driver was Sean Penn, he was alone on a road trip coming back from somewhere in the mid-west. They invite him back to my bro-in-laws house for a late night party (I was already at his house with some others). He accepts and follows them back and parties with everyone until about 4am. Pretty cool guy to hang out with everyone, but he was also a little odd.

At Ponca in 1980 I was the first bike off the gate for the 100 class practice. I had a clear track in front of me and was hauling ass. I was surprised to hear a bike coming from behind me, and coming hard. As he goes by me in a turn I take a glance over at who the hell could pass me on the outside in crappy traction while I was laid over railed in a berm. It was Ron Lechein.

In 1983 Loretta's 125A class in one of the motos I was running side by side someone going into the first turn, both of us fighting for the holeshot. It was one of those situations where you don't let off until you hear the guy next to you let off. He let off, so I blipped the throttle a bit, then he did the same, so I blipped the throttle again, and he did the same. Back and forth we're blipping the gas to gain the lead into the first turn until we both completely blew through the turn and into the infield. The other rider was Eddie Warren. I believe he went on to win both A stk and mod.

I met K-Dub in Denny's after STL in 07. He had moons over my hammy.

Ryan Dungey and I may or may not be eskimo brothers. (the league reference)

Ponca City 2006, was in line for milkshakes behind Ryan Dungey, and was checking out the practice schedule standing next to Ashley Fiolek and a fairly unknown of at the time Trey Canard.

I met Rupert X at the face of Lacrocco's Leap during practice in 07 and spoke Zeppelin with him.

Red Bud amateur day 2007, I went down the first lap of 250B, and was cruising around. By the second lap I was coming up on the finish line tabletop when I start to hear a faint "braaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPP!!!!" as Tye Simmonds hits the jump first, scrubs/whips it so hard on a KTM 125 he's facing back at me in the air.

I may remember more later, but I don't have anything spectacular.

I was at a restaurant in New Mexico while on vacation, some trendy place, and I went to use the restroom, they were unisex separate little bathrooms. Anyways, I went to go in one, and out comes Susan Sarandon.... I said hi and went in after her. Only had to take a leak but I sat down anyways... seat was still warm... top that losers!!!

I had a brief chat with Grant Langston one time in a bathroom. We were both racing a supermoto at the Mavericks stadium in Dallas.

I once got into a brief shoving match with Sean Hackley after he thought it was a great plan to clean me out and crash us both at a LL qualifier.

I watched the 2010 SX season opener with all of the riders from the Nuclear Cowboyz tour. Twitch was more into watching the racing than anyone other rider there.

Rode practice with Kevin walker, Damon Bradshaw , Larry ward at a local race in 2000 or 2001. Raced broc helper and he lapped me and I never crashed once. Ryan mills stuffed me at a LL regional on the first lap taking me down. A younger James bubba Stewart passed me during a track walk at gatorback while he was walking his English bulldog. Had pastrana and whitmore come to my pits at LL'S to visit their friends ( the day family) from Maryland.
What track ? I got to ride practice with them at Parker Valley

I met General Chuck Yeager (first man to break the sound barrier) and got a picture taken with him at Crescent City airport. Then talked with him on the radio while departing the airport in my plane while he was flying in the pattern.

I was flying the last plane to land at PDX and hold on the taxiway before Air Force One landed right in front of me with Obama on board in 2010.

Sat next to Paul Allen (Microsoft founder and multi-billionaire) at several Trailblazer games.

Burned a fatty with Jerry Mathers. Yep, the Beav's a stoner.
Partied back stage with Frank Zappa and the band. All the chicks there were freaked out at the "Young Zappa Fan" I was 17, looked like I was 12. Quite entertaining.

I officiated a pre SX practice at our track the year Doug Henry debuted the 4 banger. I had no idea who it was and he rolled up to me at the finish line on that tractor sounding thing and asked me if he was supposed to ride the next practice. I said "It's pros only, if you think you can hang." he said thanks and rode off. That's when I saw "Henry" on his pants...DOH!!!
He put on a clinic!
