Man, reading some of the posts on the Internet about this, I think people have secret desires to be trial lawyers or something.
Over on motonews people are practically spewing spittle across their computer screens and pounding their keyboards into the ground to show how perfect they are, and how imperfect J-Law is.
It really reminds me of a seething mob out of Frankenstein or the Salem Witch Trials or something.

Has it been confirmed that he was driving the car when it flipped? I heard otherwise..

you generally have to be 25 to get rentals. and if he somehow got one anyways (because theres always ways around everything... like getting your pro L's) all the rental companies share info, he will be on a list of people not to rent to.

He doesn't have a driver's license far as I know, but then again I could be wrong.

Nope. We're all marveling how a kid with this much talent, given this much opportunity, getting this much support was fucking stupid enough to get drunk and blast around a field in a rental car he's not old enough to be driving, endangering the lives of others.

If the only response that triggers in your head is "boys will be boys", then it's doubtful you and I could ever have a rational discussion on the matter.

Same way I do, hand the money to a friend who's 21.

I doubt he doesn't have a driver's license, and even if he doesn't, it's not hard to get your hands on fake id's.

As far as how he got a rental, the team probably rented it for him.

Sorry that I don't keep up on his felony count, I don't care that much about it. So he has a fake one instead of a real one, there you go.

From what someone said was that someone came over to him and they got into the car. So as far as I know, he wasn't driving.

maybe they stole the car?

I assume that someone with his level of support has all of his transportation and accomodations covered by the Team. Needless to say, someone is on the hook for some $$.

You have to be a pretty big retard to flip a car with out some sort of weird circumstance occuring.

Oh then maybe it wasn't Jlaw because he is just a "small retard". Time to call forensic maybe? I have talked to the kid a few times and he seemed like he was looking for trouble before he was making the cash. So really his antics are predictable. I don't really care but I want to see a race, the rest is just taint.

We were standing next to some guys that were there and took photos of the car after they slapped some motoxpit.com stickers on it. We were standing at the turn where Bubba went down. They said Jlaw was driving and Hill was riding shotgun, literally in this case. You could tell in his and Hill's riding that both of them were off and this was before I knew about the accident with the car. I've lived in Texas all my life and I have never done something like this, even on private property and not gone to jail. When they say "Don't mess with Texas", trust me, if you aren't JLaw, they mean it.

I seem to remember a video where guy got into a rental car at Windham's house and tried to hydroplane it across a pond, and everyone thought that was funny. Now, I don't think it's funny if the stupid kid got drunk and then couldn't ride worth squat the next day - the same way I wouldn't think it was funny if I ran a team and the most important team member just didn't care enough to show up on Sunday. THAT I wouldn't like. But the rental car? Who cares? Send Lawrence the bill and tell him that's what it costs to be so damn funny.
