Depends on how you use it. That thing is a fluffy kitten compared to a fire breathing 450 being back flipped off the grand canyon.

1985, I had one. The most awesome trike ever.

Biggest problem with those, were people not respecting them. "Hey it's a tri-cycle, it's harmless"

The inherent instability of 3 wheelers were for real no doubt.

But flowing through Glamis' endless sand hills on one of these was such a bitchen feeling. You had to experience the Glamis/3 wheeler thing yourself to understand my enthusiasm.

Tried it once and run over my own foot within 30 sec. It was like trying to sit on a huge rubberball. Scary stuff!! =)

I have a 1985 atc 110 I use to clear the single track around here. It's the only thing that kinda fits besides a bike and holds a chain saw. It is crazy how much body you have to use to ride a 3 wheeler and I can see how they outlawed them. I couldn't imagine some shmuc buying a 250R.

my brother had one of those and I had the 350 four stroke, we used to have some awesome races in the dunes.

can't count how many times I ran over my damn foot, and they weren't exactly stable...

Hell yeah they're dangerous. Makes 'em more fun! I plan to get one at some point. Haven't had one for too long.

Yep, I watch vids of three wheelers too Tongue Cool

Vid of stills taken of Cagivas, Tigers, Huskys, Hondas and more.

Here's a go-pro vid of a recent three wheeler race on an mx track. The start and first minute or so is pretty cool but gets more lame as the vid goes on.

2010-2012 YZ450? I KEED i KEEED.....i too ran over my foot on a 3 wheeler = not so much fun. Thing is, you cannot stick your foot out even though the front wheel lends you to believe you are supposed to .....yes quads are just as dangerous but they dont make you want to stick your foot out like a 3 wheeler.....with that said I would LOVE to rip one in the dunes .....even a with a CR500 engine in it.

people get hurt when they try to ride them like a quad, you ride it like a motorcycle sidecar.

I think the ones without suspension (110/185) were even more dangerous. I could race 4 MX motos then come home and play on the ATC and that damn thing would end up on top of me within 10 minutes.

Picked up this little sweetheart for $300 just to fuck around on. We have a bunch of pitbikes so I thought it would be fun for my son to see what old school atv/c riding was all about. Told him no matter what DO NOT PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN. He did well for about 15 minutes and then got into a situation where his vast 4 years of two wheel instinct took over and that sucker ran right up the back of his leg and spit his shoe about 10 feet. I literally laid in the dirt and laughed my ass off for at least five minutes. I was crying. Super fun to wheely for days.

When you wheelie that engine the oil pump can't pump to the head. The oil pump is located in the front lower right and when you stand that up the oil goes away from the pump. Learned it the hard way.

funny shit, one of the first times I rode mine it pulled me off the seat and on the ground spread eagle doing some serious splits, it was fun trying to get back up..

wasn't easy to jump off a bike and onto one of those...

Suzuki Samurai. They turnover in a stiff breeze, however make insane rock crawlers.
