I thought about pitching it to the AMA but with their tight tv schedule I don't think they would have time for 4 extra motos.

Here's the thing...

You need to go West of the Rockies and North of the Mason-Dixie...

I'm jus' sayin'...
Baby steps my friend Smile
I think you'd get "Broader" support if you looked at the map w/ a "Wider-View"...I know you'd get A LOT more participation from "The Industry" if you did...

For instance: Big and Lil' D are HUGE 2-Stroke fans...the more likely that they could be apart of an event...I think the more support you could get.

Same goes for a few other co's...

Me? I'd send a rider or two if it had a lil' more "Western" appeal.

Either way: I -REALLY- Hope you pull this off!

It will be for 2013 I promise this is just a trial run to see how much interest there is. 2013 will be ALOT bigger And I actually talked to Lil D this morning hes going to give me a call Monday they are very interested in sponsoring the series and I'm really hoping we can bring them on board!

I like the sound of this series. I would definetly come out and watch a round or two. Best of luck on this. I think the sport needs it.

Sounds good, have you spoken with Ivan Boyesen yet, I know they are die hard two stroke lovers as well. Maybe get Bel Ray Mc-1 Smile I would also require that the bikes run Leaded fuel .

2 Smoke nationals, count me in.. I still practice on my 2 smoker. It's fun to charge corners without that constant engine braking that you get on 4 strokes. Anyway get together dates and times and I'm there for sure. What are you going to do with regards to rules? Engine displacement etc. I have a CR280 that I'd love to race.

DRP, what would you think of including classes open to 2 or 4 strokes? For example: 125, 250, and Open classes (2 or 4).

You get a round at Freestone and I'll be on the gate in the 250A, maybe even other rounds if I don't get my ass kicked. I've been saying for a while now this is what needs to happen to bring back strong support for the 2-stroke. Everyone wants a hand-out from MX Sports but I'm happy to see someone stepping out there to try something different.
