Not so sure. I have been watching tapes of Dungey and his corner speed is unreal.

I noticed when some riders returned from a stint in Europe that they seemed to have amazing corner speed. Mike Brown was hitting some corners in SX that made me do a double take after he returned. Crazy fast. Not saying he was the fastest or anything, but something clicked while he was gone.

Go back in time to the DeCoster and Robert days on bikes with 4 inches of travel. The speed they would carry was sketchy considering the limitations of the machine.

Right now RV looks amazing. At the MEC he cut a corner off and slammed it into a rut so hard and so smooth. It blew my mind.

I remember watching DV12 in afternoon practice at San Diego SX years ago - the year Jimmy Button got hurt - he went through a 180 degree corner so fast I couldn't believe what I saw.

Was the fastest I've ever seen a person rail a turn without doubt.

I'd say RC and Bubba in their 125 days were mind blowing...you've never seen anyone carve a berm with flare and aggression unless you've watched those guys..

Currently, i'd have to say RV is getting that kaw 450 turned pretty darn good..

And on the 250Fs? Barcia?

Not recently but Ronnie Tichenor,in the 80's on those Zooks. I loved watching him at Unadilla and Broome.

I'm not sure RC's corner speed on a 250 2 stroke isn't the fastest...Everts is legitimately in this conversation for best corner speed ever, and RC handled him (while he was on a 450) on a 250 two stroke. that's saying something...

and no way is Mike Brown-on his best day-even close to Stewart on a 125.

I remember being mind blowed by Alessio Chiodi bellpug '97. That was the first day I went to wach a pro race, and still is the best.

I don't know how anyone can disagree with Stewart on a 125... He was unreal with his entry speed and the amount of momentum he carried through corners. He made jumps on a supercross track that the 450 guys had trouble with look easy because of it...
