Alessi Signs With MotoConcepts
Mike Alessi will ride Suzukis in 2012.
Supercrosser/motocrosser Mike Alessi has signed a deal that will see him aboard a MotoConcepts Suzuki in both the AMA Supercross and AMA National Motocross Championships in 2012. According to Moto Concepts, they have joined forces with Alessi Racing to run the team.
"Mike Genova [the MotoConcepts team owner and manager] and MotoConcepts Racing will provide me with all the assistance I need," Alessi said in a team release. "Mike Genova wants what is best for his riders, his commitment to the sport, coupled with his passion and unique approach sold me on the team."
Genova is excited to have the Alessis on board.
"Having known him for years and knowing his speed, dedication and determination, Mike Alessi was a rider I wanted on MotoConcepts Racing," Genova said. "Unquestionably, Mike Alessi brings an increased level of attention to our team. The interest and chatter from the media and fans since the rumors started are greater than we could have anticipated. Furthermore, I believe in Mike and Tony Alessi. I think their work ethic and commitment is second to none and they are the most genuine people I know."

I'm not sure if I'm impressed with this guys optimism or flabbergasted at his stupidity but after the Pourcel debacle WTF is he thinking " Hmmn that was a total waste of fucking money, I know I'll sign the most controversial father and son combo the sport has ever seen..."
i really hope hes riding the RMZ...the last thing he needs now is to be on another dud bike (not bashing the ktm but i beleive the rmz is a better machine)
