i didnt say back down to the point of letting 2nd place get on his rear tire, but it reminds me of reed in daytona 08. he should have backed off too, but instead he kept slogging through the mud at full speed and his bike broke. that to me was reeds fault

bikes running out of fuel isnt a new thing. he had a huge lead and could have backed it down a notch, so that was kind of his fault.

the fuel deal can go either way. and did dungey get the holeshot the race his chain derailed? no. HIS fault

dungey caused those problems not suzuki (except at southwick that sucked)

i agree, this IF thing is ridiculous. they all had problems this year. some were there own fault... move on already. i think the one to be watching for this year is canard... i think he was getting as fast as rv and stew before he crashed out
