Hi All,
Looking to the group for some recommendations for places in PA/NJ/DE where we can ride both MX and trails and stay over (camping).
Looking to do a weekend trip with the gang and wanna check out something new. We have some products to finish testing so we will be doing that too...
Have looked at Rocket and Doublin Gap in PA so far...Anyone ride RR?
Thanks in advance,
Sean

Of the places that have both track and trails, Majestic Camp in North Central PA is pretty good.

I am in the MD/PA/DE corner and have pretty much look for what you & your friends are looking for as far as a MX & Trail combo.
For that reason, I would highly suggest that you look into Rocket Raceway.
I went about this time last year. I was able to jump back and forth between the MX track and the Hare Scramble loop all day. The Hare Scramble loop was a pretty decent size and varied well in terrain, hills, stream crossings, etc. I want to say it was approx 5-6 miles a loop, but I was fortunate enough to hook up with a local who also showed me old & alternate sections.
Camping was free, but there were no hook-ups. There was tons of room, so you can pick your own corner and make a campfire or hang out with some other campers like I did.
The surrounding area is pretty sparse for provisions, so I would recommend that you stock up on food and supplies long before you get there.
The track owner could not have been nicer or more hospitable. I wish I could recall his name offhand, but I think if you were to call him and tell him you are bringing a group of guys, that he'd do his best to set you up. Obviously since there are races that may be left this year, you may want to work around those dates so you can jump on the MX track. They may also have a close date for the year in the next month or two, so again- you may want to give a call.
A couple years ago, Rausch Creek would have been another suggestion, but it is now gone. I found Rocket to be a fun and more than suitable replacement.
Hope this helps!
Here is the web site:

In DE you have basically Blue Diamond, Seaford, Snake Creek, and the Landing (Name changed not sure what it is called now)
PA has a bunch of tracks Pagoda, Dublin Gap, Sleepy Hollow, Rocket, Irish Valley, Evansville and a bunch more check the site they posted above.
As far as trail riding (legally) Dont bother trying in NJ. DE is more relaxed but PA is definately a better bet for that.
Hurricane Hills is awesome Fritz does a great job but Its up northeastern close to NY.
If you really want a place to trailride and moto head further south like North Carolina Motorsports Park, or Durhamtown Plantation, Club MX is sick sick sand. Way more options further down south.
I didn't even know Rausch closed. What a bummer. That place was massive.
Have already been to Durhamtown and agree it is the BOMB, but too far from us to consider for a weekend...
