Yes I am aware of that. The problem is that if you string a bunch together and someone wants to comment on a particular picture then when the "quote" that post you get this big long thread every time. There is a method to my maddness.

Rack up the posts? I was not aware anyone gave a shit about how many posts you have. Is there a contest I was not aware of?
touché, my friend...touché

Thanks for the pics.

I think it 's a family thing, if you ever meet Robert Reynard you'll know what I mean.

The Reynard's are a great family & the nicest people that you'll every meet!

Man I miss 59th & Douglas!! I remember the last year or second to last year they were open watching Reynard ride one legged because he had knee sugery. He was still hitting the triple then the tunnel jump with ease. To me that track had the best dirt!!

One of the ONLY guys that can say he caught, passed, and checked out on RC on a 125. Hell, he's one of the few that can say that period, regardless of the cc of the bike. I LOVED watching this guy ride. Saw him at Millville quite a bit. That was his track for sure. If you're trying to imitate a riding style, look to this guy and Kevin Windham.

Man, I love that Reynard video. I was actually standing right in that corner before the spectator row, and he just wasn't letting off at all through that whole section. Everyone standing there would just gasp in awe every time he went through that section WFO.

That has to be one of the most impressive motos that I've ever seen, and I'm glad I got to see it live. His speed was just insane in that moto.

I always loved this pic! How clean the bike is, the intensity and focus in his eyes. This pic also got me to thinking..."who do we have here?"

L to R: (other than Robbie of course)
Jimmy Button
Timmy Ferry
Shaun Kalos?
Cliff Palmer?

I was covering the 125cc class for Cycle News that day. Just an awesome ride. I think Rob Walters (Robbie's mechanic at the time) was more excited than Robbie!

Robbie was at the Pro Challenge in Tyler, Tx this weekend. He got caught up in a first turn situation and DNF'd the weekend. I have met him several times and remember the first time was at the Lake Whitney GNC in the early nineties or so. I rolled up to his pit Sat. night and there he was with ice on his leg. He said he may have broken the small bone in his right leg. I simpy told him how much I appreciated his racing and now promoting career and what he has given to the sport. I shared with him that in the mid to late nineties, I went to his web sight and bought a shirt as a donation his sister was selling. It states something to the effect of "I support RR17". I still have that shirt today. He thanked me and off I rode into the night like a giddy little boy.

The shirt said "I believe...Do you?" I literally dreamed of that and what I did with the shirts about 4-5 months before I ever put it into action. It makes me smile every time I see one at a race!
This weeked at Swan MX, the Pro Challenge, was a bummer for Robbie. He did, in fact, break his fibula about 2-3 inches above the ankle. He will be in a walking cast/boot for the next month or so. He was glad it was a clean break and didn't require surgery. He did it in the qualifier during the day on Saturday...after falling in the 1st turn he got up and continued...he then ripped it off the peg a few laps later. He knew at that point it was broken. Not sure when the break actually took place. But he went back to the pits and called it a weekend....but he didn't head to an ER or home...he had a rider to watch race and didn't head home until Sunday afternoon. He went to the doctor today. Just another reason why I admire my brother...even though in pain; his love for this sport and for his riders are greater (they are his kids). He makes me proud and still today, I love watching him ride!!! I have no doubt this is only a pause in his racing....and so now we wait for another come back. (even though they are a bit different theses days lol) Smile

Thanks for sharing all the great photos...I love memory lane!! Smile

Thanks, but I'm not the one who made that... a former Oklahoma photographer by the name of Jon Craft made that... I just happened to have a copy of it so I threw it up there.
To be honest though I didn't catch it until you said something simply because it is one of those words that is kinda tricky to spell anyways... gotta love spellchecker!
