Isn't that crazy? The manufacturers said they're cutting back on two strokes because they can't sell them, then everyone wants one. Go figure.

I live in Upstate New York and just got a new leftover 2007 YZ250 that I had to drive 4 hours into Pennsylvania for. I wanted a 2008 but only found a few in all neighboring states and they were about $500-600 more than the 2007 and there is only minor differences. Tell your buddy to get one if he finds it because I have so much more fun on the YZ250 than my YZ250F and I think I am allot faster on the 250T than the 250F

I would say:
Bert's Mega Mall in AZUSA, CA
or
Yamaha of Troy in Datyon, OH

if those don't work, PM me and I will find out from Yamaha who has them.

You should be there is 15 more horse. I do have to agree though the two strokes are fun to ride.

I know there is a big gain in HP but its still a bit more challenging to go fast on compared to the torquey feel of the four stroke. The power delivery is so abrupt and strong that you have to kind of re-learn how to ride the two stroke fast. So far though it has been so much fun just to whip around and play ride on. First race on the two stroke is Sunday so we will see what the results are compared to how I normally do on the 250 four stroke

Try Andrews Cycles in Ohio. I don't know if they have any YZ's, but if anyone does, they do, and it will be friggen cheap as shit.

The 2007 was $5,700 out the door and the 2008's I found were between $6,200-$6,300 plus a farther drive from my house. With gas prices it would of been about an extra $100 for gas to get the 2008

I saw a 2007 in the Utah area. I believe the discounted price for the 07 was 5700.00
