Ok? So......he shows up for one outdoor race and goes 3rd-DNF. And then shows up at SX and gets 4th in the standings ( would have been 5th if Canard didn't get hurt )............and those are only the guys here in the USA that beat him ( except Desalle ). So from reading your very well thought out post..........do you care to show me and others what makes him the greatest on the planet compared to all these other riders on these lists? Because his results sure don't show it. Outdoors........he hasn't shown anything since 2008........so I'll be waiting for you response.

And since you won't be able to show me these results , please fill me in " Broman " on why Stewart is your favorite rider. I know why......but I don't think you'll say it.
your analogy sucks, at best, are you kidding?... 3rd/dnf you are using crap for analogy... I' ve been a racer and so have all of my boys... And we knew who was there that day and what had to happen, in some cases... The point is, that we knew and everyone else, in the class, knew... I don't have to say it to make it true... Jeffro, you are dreaming, if you can dispute these facts... I am not a JS fan, but you dumb asses are chasing people that way, the way of the truth, trumps your, worthless, opinion... Nope, I'm not a black man, its just a tag, smartass...

How focused do you guys think James was in 2011 SX,compared to 2009 SX,2008 MX & 2007 SX(not just on the track but his entire overall program)?

Since you are as dense as a block of wood, I will explain to your, stupid a$$... JS had been off, hurt... It takes race time to get back to speed, ie M.Musquin this season, ie. anyone that gets an injury, it takes time, more than your first race back... Lets us all know, how much racing you've done and how hard you ride, if you ride at all... The only mistake that JS made was to come back outdoors for the wrong reasons... He had nothing to prove... The AMA should have told him/his people, and we probably would not have seen him, and DAs like you would not have any stupid comments or uses of crap analogies, is that all you got?... JS is , plain and simple, at the Top of American Motocross... Your, DA probably, argued about RC wasn't the G.O.A.T. ... Even though his peers named him that...

Reed's 9th and Stewart's 3rd? Obviously that man has no fucking idea what he's talking about.

Yeah that makes sense. He's at the top of American motocross with a 4th place finish in the SX series. That's much better than Villopoto's 2 titles.

Yeah, thats a good point. Look at Ryan Villopoto, he was hurt pretty bad and missed almost a year. It took him a while to get back up to speed. Oh my bad, he came back and won his first race back and the SX and MX championships. I guess that blows your theory all to hell.

Mx or Sx, it just doesn't matter... you can justify anything.. hell, right now, AC wouldn't be in the top 20 in American Sx, so I know G.M. wasn't refering to SX... JS is the most aggressive, most feared, most intense, fastest, quickest, craziest, takes the biggest risks, accomplishes more obtacles, overcomes more technical track roadblocks, that noone will even touch, SX or MX,... He always will raise the bar to make the pass... American Motocross, if not World Motocross knows he is there and coming, "oh good, hes hurt", is a common thought, amongst his peers, I understand ... He is the Top of American Motocross,.. if you don''t believe me... you better ask someone, anyone that knows, ask his comp... I would say the same for CP, but, JS has him covered...
Thats just the way it is,

Ralph Shaheen was in the middle of saying those exact words when Kdub showed he could do all of Stewart's "amazing, unbelievable, no-one-else-can-do-these" lines, and Stewart then promptly hit the deck. Villopoto and Brayton did the same quad JS was doing at A2. The only reason any racer says "oh no, James is here" at any race is because as soon as you get within 10 feet in front, behind, or beside him, he lawn-darts into you. Granted, I still believe he is in the top 10 450 riders in the world. Pourcel however is not.

I don't think anyone denies Stewart is capable of providing the most "holy shit did you see that" moments and more often than not turns the fastest lap. But to be at the top you gotta bring home the hardware, that's all I'm sayin. And who knows, he might just do that this coming season.

then , we are talking about different things...Hardware has little to do with ability... JS has won his fair share, and I agree he should have won much more...

Dream on?

Dude, Stewart is amazing on a bike, BUT, after RC retired he should have flat out OWNED the sport, indoors and out. Hasn't happened, and now, he has a whole crop of kids that believe they can beat him.

Top 10? Of course, Top 5? Yep, The Top? I don't believe so, but possible... he has to race first though.

Nice. The dumbshit tries to avoid ownership for its own ignorance and blame it on me. Typical behavior of something much less than a real man. My bet is he's a nagger and nothing more.

I think that Stewart really messed up when he skipped three consecutive outdoor seasons in the prime of his career. He will really regret that down the road, I know I would.

"less than a real man", yeah right... I got your Real Man, right here... your, little girl, response is typical of a mini parent that has had his, know nothing, 'tude dropped in front of his son and wife, at the track, then you go away, looking for sympathy...
Wrong guy, I have none...

Broman's responses have given me the best laughs I have had in months! Look genius......I have never and will never dismiss James' pure speed ability , but you are living in LaLa land if you think he could just show up out doors ( in shape or not ) and walk on all the guys mentioned in this thread. You are clueless.

And Still........I haven't seen any facts to back up your bullshit.....just your opinions....which everyone has one. And yeah....I DO ride. I have a good 6-8 guys on this site alone I have ridden with , ask them if I know how to ride one.

It's guys like you , that don't do Stewart any favors by sticking up for him. There are a few other Stewart fantards around these mx boards that could all learn a lesson from someone like Kong0036. He's a huge JS supporter , and when he says stuff , he comes off in a good way , and you understand his opinion and point of view. Dummies like you give Stewart a bad name.

First.....go back to school and learn how to type words in a complete sentence before you try to carry on a conversation with adults you tool.

But please keep responding , because you are giving myself and other a hell of a laugh tonight.

tool? Right... You'll learn, maybe you won't... Everyone thinks they are fast... I've met a bunch... Not many, really are... I'm sure your abilities are premium... My son, on an 85, handled many delusional fools that thought that... To my amusement, more times than not... I write thoughts, not sentences here... This is a blog, not college... I'm not used to deaing with a bunch of chumps... It is amazing to me that you guys have the delusion that your opinion matters... Let me clue you in, it doesn't... Funny story, I have 4 kids... They are all in their 20's, and they all thought like you too, when they were 15, 16, 17... They might still think it, sometimes, but they are smart enough to know when it is time to speak up and when it really doesn't matter...

Maybe you'll learn to shut it , too...

look dude. We all have our opinions , and they all don't matter......either yours or mine. This isn't a "Blog" message board......it's some where where you type out conversations. It's a place where we bench race and talk about different aspects of the racing that is happening ( or is going to happen ). As far as me riding , I did ok. I raced 250 Int , +25A and +30A for many years out here in the NW. I had my good days and bad days. A lot of the times when I showed up on the gate for the 250 Int race.....I was the oldest one on the gate by 10 years , and could still hold my own pretty well. I'm 43yrs old now.......and just coming back from about 5-1/2 years off. Almost getting killed in the sport tends to steer you into other things to do. I'm back riding now and feeling good about it. In all my post previous to this one , I sated some facts that you say weren't true......you just keep coming back in here telling me and everyone else that those facts are false.......and "your" opinion is true.

Also.....my "Analogy" i used? It wasn't an analogy at all........that is exactly what happened.

I don't see how you don't at least acknowledge the guy and then punt on it because he hasn't ridden outdoors for a couple years.

He also doesn't mention Canard at all, but includes Barcia.

Posted in the other thread where I first raised this, but this appears to be the one with legs on this issue even, sorry for the dup.

Where was a he coming from? A ghetto Amsterdam "coffee" shop? Starting a bitch fest here and getting hits for his site probably.
My first thought on reading Jiff's piece was that he had moved his international headquarters to Amsterdam also........

Seriously, he's a bit bizarre sometimes. I could be wrong, but my impression is that SX is the most technical of the disciplines that these guys compete in, so his statement that Cairoli was the most technical of all the riders seemed just a bit odd. And the notion that DeSalle, who is obviously a great rider, was the fastest rider in the world is probably ludicrous. At that time, the top 3 guys in the AMA were the top guys. RV, Dungey, and Reed were at a completely different level than anyone else for most of the summer. Canard was right there with them, perhaps a half click behind, and Cairoli and DeSalle were probably right about Canard's level.

I didn't really understand his comments about Villopoto, either. Why would Jiff be "happy to say he isn’t in the same league as a Ricky Carmichael or even a James Stewart" anyway? What would make him happy about that?

an analogy is a relative story that is used to support, in this case, a theory, of why or why not... It was what happened, however, in context, you used it as an analogy to support your subjective opinion, of why not... The story was true, it happened... My reasoning for being so dogmatic about James, Fricken, Stewart, is because people seem to miss how important JS is to American Motocross and World Motocross, for that matter... He has been for several years the measuring stick of just how fast.... Even RC, as at the top as you can be, realized and commented that JS was the fastest motocross man on the planet... Was RC delusional?... He did race the guy, as well as any that showed, at any event... He raced James, himself...
Everyone is beatable, but in some, rare, cases, there aren't many that can or ever will,.. that is if they retire, like RC... James has always had that extra gear... The term "ballistic" describes his speed... If you let someone catch you or run with you, then the outcome is subjective... James is guilty of doing this, seemingly, in the name of riding smart... I doubt we will see him keep racing that way... My bet, is that he will find that speed, that he is looking for... The fact is, that any racer that wins, can get away... If he gets away, he is usually gone... ie: RV a few times this year... However, he was caught and passed a couple of times, too... You know what I think?... It doesn't matter... I'll just say JS is capable,,, and, we'll see what he does... BTW, I'm not black, nor am I a JS fan/follower... I've been around this group ever since they started... They have always been one of those guys, James just a tad more than the rest... He is still racing and until he retires, I'll believe he is capable and everyone of his comp, knows it...
No more jabs from me tonight,
