My friend took this of Mike yesterday. He's in Reno for a pretty big local race to win some $$$. Even still has his KTM Alpinestars gear.

That's not bad looking! I bet a white seat with blue trim would look sweet.

I bet Mikey couldn't wait to throw a leg over a suzuki again. He's been staring longingly at Dungey's bike all year. Can't wait to see how he does and if he gets factory support.

newmann has a new friend...

newmann, get bellyball's opinion on 2 strokes vs 4 strokes... remember, he is a mechanic for a Kawasaki rider here in FL but he won't say who the rider is... I'm suppose to know since I live in FL.

Maybe since you're in TX, he may tell you!

Not seeing the forever Alessi sponsor of Race Tech.. Weird..

I don't get how everyone is in love with the RM, when it let Dungey down more than once this year, and thats with what had been described as the best wrench in the biz...

Wonder if he wears the Red Bull gear for the race, I'm thinking not.

wtf??.....a broken chain guide derails the chain, A rock cracks the engine case, RD5's fuel boils....then an electrical issue at Southwick. So how many times has THE bike let him down exactly?....that's right once! But even then at the end of the day...the bike and rider finished 3o/a. The rest were racing incidents. How about both Reeds and BamBams POS Hondas blowing up at Southwick....now THATS a bike issue.

Why did the chain guide break? Didn't see it break on anyone of the other top guys bikes. Were they using stock parts?

Fuel boils? Isn't that a problem Suzuki had last year as well?

Electrical issue?

If you scratch the chain issue and the broken case, that still makes two bikes problems for the bike everyone is rumored to be jumping at.

Really stupid comment there wawazat. Every bike has a problem every now and then, Dungeys were just highlighted because of how close he was in the championship.

Every now and then, Suzukis had the fuel boiling problem before, and yeah maybe Dungeys problems were highlighted because of how close things were, but had he not had those bike problems, he would be champ right now.

No doubt Goose is a great mechanic, but it is odd that his bike had the most problems, or bad luck with one of the top riders. Bad luck cant explain it all away..

Whatever brand and team, would love to see Stewart back up and going full speed with a lot more harmony to his program than what has seemed to be the case since leaving Kawasaki.

Re-read my post. For the second time, I didn't say racing was better without James in fact I said "having another fast guy like James racing helps the series no doubt." I also said adding a healthy TC to the mix. Having James out there would be great and helps the racing (as I stated originally if you actually read my post) I'm just saying the motocross world doesn't revolve around whether James races a series or not. If James decides not to race the world doesn't end, the sun still comes up in the morning and there are still fast guys left to keep us arguing on message boards.
you re -read it... you spewed negative about J.S. racing or not... It is exactly the opposite of what you are pretending that you meant... You said "racing or not", furthermore, that it doesn't make a series... You said nothing about it being better with him there... Now, you can change what you typed by the edit button, but I know what you typed... There are 6 that have the winning speed and a couple that are almost there... I hope to see them all...

No, but Dungeys championships can explain it. 4 championships in a row doesnt come with a "bad" Bike. Im sorry, but if you want to play that game every single bike out there has had problems.

Why has RV1 struggled to stay healthy these past few years? Are we going to blame it on the 2010-11 kawi for making him crash? So yeah no one ride a kawi cuz they injure you.

Are we going to point out CR22s and JB17s engine trouble in the rain? TCs bad wrecks? Metty running out of fuel last year? Are we going to blame honda for that and tell everyone to stay away from them?

Are we going to look at the fact that 0 pro riders would willingly choose to ride the new yamaha. Are we going to look at all of his crashes and tell everyone not to ride them?

Thanks KTM for screwing up shorts and alessis starts!

Jesh there are no good bikes apparently

What are we going to do about it????

Guess we all need to go race husqvarnas or something!
