Broc Tickle on a PC 450 next year

I think this guy will do great things on the 450 sucks it needs to be Supercross but with his size and trainning i think he wil be ready. GOOD LUCK BROC!

You know, maybe he'll be another Barcia and surprise people with his 450 skills. Everybody and their brother claims to be a better 450 rider, maybe Broc really is.

One comparison I'll be watching for in 2012 is the Broc, the 11 west coast champ on the PC 450 Kawi vs. Weimer the 10 champ on the factory Kawi.

He's racing the Monster Cup on the 450, but is realistic about his goals.

every round? his contract would have only been 1/2 the sx rounds.
mitch is a heck of a guy. turns hansen into something. helps out townley, pourcel, reed. makes a 450 effort to make good on a contract. makes champions every year. the list goes on.

Broc Tickle seems to me like he has more of big bike riding style..............I say the sky is the limit if he wants to put the time in.

I just can's see him doing better than RV2, JS7, RD5, CR22, TC41, Kdub, IT9, Shorty, Weimer, or even Milsaps. There's 10 solid guys right there and that didn't even include Brayton, Grant, Metty, or Hill (whatever he's doing). Definitely tough.
You could add more, Pourcel, Regal, Alessi, Hahn, Chisholm, Blose, Wey, Stroupe, Hansen, Byrne, JT$, Boni, Albertson Plus the guys that are moving up like Morias. People can say if a guy doesn't make top 10 at a given SX it's a failure, but damn, it will be a huge deal to make the main! Thats 28 solid guys!

Great to see Pro Circuit/Mitch start racing the Factory Teams again. Excellent for the future of the sport. Doubt if it will be as easy as Team Peak on the 125's but give Mitch a few years and he will be on top in the premier class.

This type of thinking irritates me in motocross. 22 is young. Guys in other sports start to reach thier prime at 23-24, in the nfl, 25-26. Let these guys grow, and mature as riders, before they get tossed to the wolves.

22 is young in other sports but in MX, 22 is right in the middle of your prime. I think 18-24 is the prime for majority of MX racers. As always there are exceptions. Look at bubba , what is he 24 or so and I would say past his prime.

these kids start racing pro/A at 16 or 17 so by 22 they have 6 to 7 years in.

He is going to be on a Mitch Payton Pro Circuit 450 for cryin out loud. It's not like he is on a Cannondale MX 440.. He will be fine.

Motocross racers could possibly be in their prime around their late 20's like
many other sports if it weren't for all the injuries. I think the injuries that motocrossers deal with cause them to age faster and beat them down mentally.

By your late 20's your physical abilities are still there and the mental side is beginning to match the physical side. Most pro racers don't reach that age with out being physically destroyed.

Look at the injuries that Villopoto and Canard have dealt with in the last few years..........how many stick and ball guys go through stuff like broken femurs or broken tib and fib ........and then have to jump right back on a death machine with 60 hp and pin it down a fifth gear straight away right into a 100' table top?

They really should write an addendum to the rule saying if you are in your final year of eligibility, or point out of the 250 class, and you win the title that year, you are given the option to come back and defend it the next year in the same coast. It's a stupid rule and does a disservice to the sport and a guy that just won the championship. my .02 cents I don't care if it was a guy like Morias whose been in the 250 class for a 100 years won the title....he should be allowed to defend it, if he even wants to...one time.

How many times could a guy win a 250 sx title and remain in the class? what i mean is, say a rookie came in and won, then next year won again, are they allowed to defend a 3rd time or do they automatically move up?

Consistent top 10 w/ top 5 more often than expected and some time on the box...maybe even a 2nd.

Everyone seems to forget how much the PC guys test, practice & develop; also, Mitch & Co. may be attempting to make a point or 2 amongst certain company...

I think Broc will finish in the top 5 in SX in '12. He's going to get his Mojo back on that 450.

I'm jus' sayin'...

It seemed Broc just phoned in the whole national series. Was he injured or something? He will run consistent 7-10th on the 450 in SX.

This is a HUGE break for Broc! Man what a blessing in disguise. How many guys get to do their first year in the 450s with this kind of support?

In my opinion, if he has a good year on the PC450, it will do far more for his career than having another great year on the 250s. If he can be in the top 5 a few races, which he is capable of, he could set himself up for a factory ride in '13.

Sure would be nice to see Broc ride with the big #1... just another damaged career by the hands of one of the most ridiculous rules in professional sports.
