The fewer motos part holds water, but the overalls part doesn't. He won two more overalls than RV.

Btw, they didn't have 3 wins a piece. It was RD - 4 and RV - 3. RD couldn't have gone from 3 to 5 wins in one round. Check the stats. They would have tied at 4 if RV won Pala.

no its fine. i thought reed had won 4, that was my mistake. honestly i think rv followed dungey thru the pack in the 2nd moto until they caught reed and backed off,l he knew everything was in control. Rd pushed to the end

Dungey was smiling on the podium, and he has every reason to. He did everything he possibly could, and has a new, "friendly," rival to boot.

Part of the reason this season was so great, is the fact that Dungey, 'Poto, and Reed raced each other hard and aggressive, but respectful at the same time. It ends up being better for everyone when riders don't have to worry about being cleaned out.

I don't feel bad for him, and I don't think he feels bad for himself. 'Twas a great season of racing.

what makes it hard is i like both of them for different reasons. i really wanted rv to get the monkey off his back and win both titles after two years of bad luck. sometimes i think Rv is a bit cocky is because im sure its hard when your hurt watching others win titles that you have been deemed to win. i mean there were some crazy standards put on RV right away after his dominence on the lites bikes. dungey has a cool riding style and is fun to watch. rvs dtermination is out of this world. they are both still young.i wish rv would jump on that suzuki or honda but its looking like he might be another jeff ward lifetime green rider

Right. They're both good in their own way. If it's hard to pick a favorite just go with Dungey. After all, he's the best Silly

I've seen a couple of vital champions of douchebaggery, but they don't compare to champs like 'Poto, Dungey, and many of the other great ones.

This really makes no sense, considering that champions give it everything they have...as was the case this year. This goes for all three of the riders that battled this year.

you should be a politician, YOU make no sense... what are you talking about?... Let me explain, since you are a retard and don't want to grasp the truth... Stand in line around here... A champion, at anything, will be, understandably, upset at a loss and determined to turn it around... some will, some won't... You must be trying for that Vital douchebag thing...

It is your choice of adjectives that alarmed me that you don't fully understand competition, and winning that competition...

There is a bit of merit in this. Still, Suzuki and RD are interlinked. His team made the mistakes. It wasn't someone else's team.
And the team manager that left suzuki and went to KTM had his own share of mechanical problems.

Decoster is a fantastic team manager, but he's human and had his own share of problems this year.

BTW: Lot's of others behind the scenes that work hard to make a good team.

Barcia had no overall wins this year.

Dungey - 4
Reed - 4
Villopoto - 3
Metcalfe -1

Now Alessi there's a guy I actually do feel bad for.

didn't think it up, been my nickname so long many people just know me by that tag.. NTM, the reason would be over your head... As for being banned, how old are you?... I've been coming around this blog for longer than its been called "Vital"... I have a right to be disappointed about this outcome... I don't like rv, I happen to like RD... I don't hide behind the fact that I don't care for Chad Reed, either... At times I'd get to thinking about liking his new attitude, then he'd do something that would remind me why I didn't care for him in the first place... Believe me, in person you wouldn't like me... That would be okay because I wouldn't put up with your chump 'tude, either

Oh Boy!! Some of you guys on the Vital Board are ,,,, well lets just say you could use an mental overhaul, maybe a just a jetting change or a revalve, I dont know, with the exception of the older guys, (much respect), but let me put this into perspective, the real winners here are all of us, I have seen some of the best racing this year in SX and MX, that ive seen in years. Almost all of the young guns are kids I would be very proud of as a parent and seem to be turning the "Bad Boy Image" around in moto. Even Reed has turned his image around and figured it out, (not that he was ever a bad boy!!) We should all be thankful for that, since I believe it has gotten us ALL more live coverage of OUR sport, which I dearly love, eat, sleep and breathe, (well, maybe at I my age, not), but you get my point. I never miss a televised race.
These guys win too bye the way, they get to do what most of us have only dreamed of doing and get compensated very well for it, they are bringing many to our sport that have never given a rats ass about it before.
Guys,,, thats a good thing for us right know,
Lets just be happy for that, and be thankful on this day that our county is the greatest in the world, GO TEAM USA!!!! MXoN

Oh, and bye the way,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,DUNGEY GOT F#%@&* ROBBED!!!!!

Jus Kiddin, Have Fun All
God Bless The USA

So it's about you, then? This entire instance of bullshit is about you being "disappointed" that Dungey lost. Tampons and midol are options that you should look into.

Well, I hate to be the first one to break this to you, but nobody gives a shit about how many tears you cry because Dungey lost.

Guess what?

who is this DA, the wood 109?... I don't really care... he thinks someone does... I bet his girlfriend, thats assuming he has one, is keeping her options open... and rightly so... he seems to be a bit edgy... maybe it is the meth that makes thewood 109 spew, the child wanting to be a man, rhetoric...

The first stage is denial, buddy.

Denial (this isn't happening to me!)
Anger (why is this happening to me?)
Bargaining (I promise I'll be a better person if...)
Depression (I don't care anymore)
Acceptance (I'm ready for whatever comes)

You are on you're way to realizing you're a dumbass!

Very exciting stuff, should the school call your parents and let them know how much progress you've made?
