But yes, now I am a couch pro.
Some serious funny shit!
Pit Row
You really are a smug little prick.
By the way, I have seen them both at amateur nationals a ton of times.
Last month I was racing a money race at a fair and a 2 digit AMA guy showed up (i'll keep him annonymous) We battled hard the first night in heats and mains in both classes but he got me every time the checkers came out. We raced out of desperation and were getting real dirty, but not taking each other out. He crossed jumped me several times and I know for a fact I did the same to him but all was good, racing is racing and we put on a good show IMO.
Saturday night came around and in the 250F heat we were together and another battle ensued. I don't race for a living, more as a hobby and to make some money towards paying my bikes off each year and quite frankly I am a bit out of shape to race 3 classes for 2 nights. I got out in front of him and gapped him but threw out the anchor and he caught back up. With 2 laps left he was on my rear wheel and I held him off to win for the first time all weekend.
After the heat him and his father came over to my van looking for a fight accusing me of cross jumping and a danger to the rider. I know for a fact I wasn't racing him any harder or dirtier than I had the night before, but since he didn't come out on top he was fired up and had something to say.
It really sucked and definitely ruined any joy I had in edging him out. I feel the same type of thing of happened between Wilson and Bagget. Wilson was a bit desperate, but no more than usual I'm sure and it was just bad timing and Bagget was fired up.
I have a bit of SX experience and have seen some insane cross jumping by lots of top riders first hand. I saw a single digit rider cut in front of a 3 digit guy on the face of a triple. He slammed on the binders on the face causing him to case the triple and snap his arm on impact.
I think this all got blown way up and needs to be forgotten about.
A good majority of the crowd on here started racing in the 70's & 80's....and some are still at it.
Don't discourage him.
LOL.
Nice job at GH regional in 07, you beat the three people who DNFed the third moto and the girl In 08 you didn't even make it to the regional in a region where everyone makes it to the regional. 11th but you beat the 4 guys who didn't finish the last moto. Then in 09 you were 7th out of 8.
KX301 qualified in 2 classes last year, you have never even been close.
