Jimmy Button said for 2012 there will be more rides, than riders. Chris will end up with a ride! Personally I would clip Tedesco long before I Let Blose go, Ivan's best years are far behind him!!! Not sure why H&H is putting so much effort into Tarter Sauce? Ivan's the only guy out there that crashes more than Stewart! Did Ivan even finish 1/2 of the races this year? I doubt it!!!

I think Ivan brings more fans to H&H, than Chris does and that's a big part of it. I'm not saying Chris isn't a likable guy, but Ivan is pretty well known and Very likable by all sorts. He's been noticed, like his appearance on MTV's Cribs. He does seem to have an 'off' year, then an 'on' year and back and forth. I actually think Ivan will do well this year.

blose could have an amazing year...hes what my age? 23? Still working his way to the top with nothing but improvements in the last few years.

Spewin if it has fell through, would have been sweet to see a solid rider here this year.

He is still in for the Aussie SX, I think they just decided not to have him for 2012 in USA.

Thanks for the info and best of luck to Chris in 2012

I remember Watson mentioning that he was on a performance based contract with very little guaranteed money. Because of his results, he apparently made a nice little bit of money last year. Is it possible that H&H didn't show him the door but he was asking for more front end money and it's just not in the budget? Maybe he out priced himself off the team?

I don't have any inside info all, just trying to bring another possibility to the discussion before we all go and shit all over H&H.

Its obvious on track results aren't the biggest factor in H&H pickin their riders. I would Guess that Hart considers the overall popularity of a rider as well. These guys are no dummies and they need guys they can market. Hansen is, although us hard-core moto guys hate to admit it, a lot closer to a mainstream household name than Blose is. The actual racing is just half their job now, they are answering to sponsors and filling corporate events with their riders. I think Blose is the most deserving of the ride out of the bunch, but right now he just doesn' t mesh with their business plan. Its seems like they are trying to grow anyway they can, and he was just a rung on their ladder. Cheap talent that gave them results just to be sidelined for a bigger name.

Your joking.....right? Performance based....meant NO guaranteed money. Ofcourse Chris would like to have some guaranteed salary for 2012. Based on his 2011 results he certainly deserves it, but decisions were made before any salary negotions even took place. Furthermore....Did you read one single negative thing in my post about the team? NOT!! Since you are obviously NOT an insider maybe you should keep your comments to yourself..... Whistling

Bingo...Business is business. It's sad but it's TRUE.Sad Unfortunately for Chris this has happened to him TWICE. But, you also have to remember there are still riders buying their way on to teams. Chris has had to do his bidding on the track because he has never had the financial backing needed to BUY a ride!Blink

i like blose ok...his rides are just a little forgetable tho for me...no wow factor. ivan fills the pits...he is an ex champ and the o his best may be behind him he is popular and that has worth to a team . blose belongs on a more clean image team like TLD or something where ivan, hill or hanny fit the HH mold IMHO.

I'm not sure what I said to get you so jerked out of frame. I didn't read one negative comment in your post. I wasn't even even referring to you! As far as Chris deserving guaranteed money for 2012, I agree with that. That was my point! His results in 2011 warrant some guaranteed money for 2012. I think he deserves it and should ask for it but maybe it wasn't in the budget at h&h. My whole post was a question, not a comment. Do I need to be an insider to ask a question around here?

Well, I guess I answered your question then. Statements like "showed him the door" and "priced himself off the team" did not sound very complimentary. And yes, I am sensitive about it all. I know how hard Chris works and has worked for this team. He was their rider that always showed up for everything and the one that put out the extra effort. He was the employee that gave them the results they needed to get more and better sponsors. In most businesses that kind of employee would be rewarded. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them.Sad He has NEVER let a team down. He will be an asset to any team that hires him. He will do even better in 2012. Trust me!

I think you read too much into it. My point was that when H&H first hired Chris, they hired him as their "second tier" rider behind Tedesco. As his results improved so did his value. "Priced himself off the team" just meant that his status and value grew past that of a second tier rider and maybe a second tier rider spot was all that H&H had left in the budget. In other words, Chris was too good for what H&H had to offer.

The "show him the door" comment, if you go back and re-read it, was to point out that maybe he WAS NOT just "shown the door" as in, "we don't want you anymore". Instead, maybe he rode well enough that H&H had to go another direction.

My entire fist post was meant to be complimentary. Sorry if you took it otherwise,

Maybe Blose should roll a rental car, or punch his mechanic or ghost ride his bike off the track to pump up his image a little bit. get his bargaining power up there.

And people attacking 500guy for starting this thread, get a grip. everybody is from somewhere. most people root for college football teams or national teams based on their geographic location. Blose is still a rider worthy of talking about no matter where hes from or who started the topic. Pretty sure theres not one person in the NW that isnt a villo fan.

So Hanny's not on H&H for 2012? I thought he was so that it would be more convenient for Wastson to suck him off.

Post a reply to: Blose not with H&H for 2012 ?
